Before Lush I was on five different dermatological perscriptions. Now I have a facial regimen that includes Fresh Pharmacy, Tea Tree Water, Herbalism, and Gorgeous. My skin looks better than it ever has before. I attribute the shinking of my pores, and smoothing of my skin to this moisturizer. I will never go back to the dermatologist again as long as I have Lush.

I have no idea what's in this product, but I have a feeling somebody dumped a pot of magic into it. It looks bland and doesn't smell extremely sensational, but boy oh boy does it work. I was skeptical to try it. I have very normal skin and almost never have problems with redness, breakouts, oil, or any other problem. (Yes, I have been blessed with awesome skin!) Anyway, i just didn't think that this could do much for me since there's really nothing wrong with my skin in the first place. But after just one use, ONE USE, I could tell that my skin was glowing and more pores were smaller. After using it for a few days now, I'm hooked. Try it. You won't be sorry.

I am a skeptic no more. This is like a magic formula. I have a terrible habit of picking at my face until a barely noticebale blemish or ingrown hair becomes a horrendous crater (that I cover poorly with make-up). I ordered Gorgeous last week and when it arrived I had just dug another whole in my cheek. I started using Gorgeous with the Breath of Fresh Air Toner exactly one week ago and my skin is clear and radiant(and during my cycle...that never happens). In the past, I have invested in Mary Kay Timewise products, Aveeno Positively Ageless formulas, Loreal's Skin Genesis serums, Noxzema, you name it...and I have NEVER experienced results like this. I'm hooked. Before adopting this product, I couldn't believe that there were so many people that loved this product (especially after paying $85 bucks)...now I feel like an informercial, it's so worth it :o)! Gorgeous really makes you gorgeous. I haven't worn makeup in three whole days! I'm taking my mom to the store this weekend to get some. By the way, the smell doesn't excite or repulse me. It's nice, but it only lasts about fifteen minutes, by the time I get to work, i can't smell it. THANK YOU SUSAN for making my products!

I've wanted gorgeous ever since I got a sample of it 2 years ago. Its sooo expensive...I always wondered which product in it makes it 85 bucks. I finally got it for christimas this year and it was my favorite gift ever!!! I hardly ever wear foundation makeup anymore because my skin is so clear and shiny without it! My favorite lush product by far.

I have tried countless moisturizers, and "Gorgeous" has exceeded them all. It really is amazing stuff. It never makes me break out like all other moisturizers do. If my skin is feeling oily or dry, it doesn't matter, "Gorgeous" fixes it. My skin has this new glow, and has a radiance it never had before. My imperfections have been diminished, and my skin has firmed. I'd pay any amount to have this. It really has perfected my skin and I get so many compliments! I can't live without my "Gorgeous"! Thanks LUSH...this is one of your best products! Everyone needs it! It's my secret to my flawless skin =]

This one is a bit pricey, so I could only give it four stars. As a student it is often hard to justify to people why purchasing an $85 moisturizer is a necessity :) That being said, it is a product that I will continue to use and buy because it has been exceptional to my skin. I find that it absorbs quickly, taking away most of the shine in my T-zone but is hydrating enough for the rest of my face. I love it's scent and definitely makes me feel gorgeous all throughout the day!

the best moisturizer bar none! restores suppleness, vibrancy and touchability of the face. i'm down to using makeup only to lighten around the eyes, even out the smiles lines, and over my chin area (to conceal reminants of acne - hyperpigmentation). in other words i'm on my way to no makeup as my complexion is becoming so even and glowing. i feel like i'm going through a shedding of my old skin to reveal clean, clear beauty underneath. thank you lush!

So far, so good! My first moisturizer was Enzymion, and I love that stuff, so I traveled to get some more. Well, the sales rep saw me putting Mirror Mirror and Enchanted Eye Cream in my basket as well, and suggested that I just go ahead and buy Gorgeous and use that all over instead (to simplify). At first, I was worried because of the floral scent, and I'm so used to fragrances giving me headaches or making me breakout. But it didn't. It feels a little tackier than Enzymion right at first, but dries up really fast, and the scent dissipates after a few minutes as well. <br>I had doubts, but it turned out to be a very light moisturizer after all, and helped my skin tone in the same way as what I was using before. <br>The price is high, but it goes a long way, and I'd rather spend the money taking care of my skin than buying a bunch of make-up to cover the blotches any day. <br>5 stars for the pleasant surprise!<br>

I was going to wait to review this since I've only been using it for 3 days, but already I can see a difference in my skin. I keep staring at the porcelain-skinned stranger in the mirror! No more redness, even skin tone, acne disappearing, BEAUTIFUL! The first time I put it on my boyfriend snuggled up next to me and said "Mmmm, you smell gorgeous!" It earns 5 stars just for that.<br>One note about the price: I worked for a cosmetic company who sold less than an oz of lotion for $220. Why? Because the container had crushed pearls and gold in it. You paid all that for the container and a little lotion!! When you think about how minimal Lush's packaging is, you know you're paying for the actual moisturizer, and the good (and expensive) ingredients. I think this is totally worth the price.

When you first see the price you have to double check to see if you read the correct price! It is worth every single penny! It will leave your face smelling absolutely gorgeous, make the pores on your face smaller, and give you that matte finish to die for!

I received a sample of this and I really like it. The orange blossom scent is great, and it really does make my skin feel gorgeously soft... but I had to take away a star for the crazy-high price. If I hadn't gotten the free sample, I would never have tried it. Still, if you have the money burning a hole in your pocket, this isn't a bad way to spend it.

There isn't an option for TEN stars! This product is amazing! I was running out of Celestial and Ultra Light. Those are perfect for the winter in Wisconsin, but with SPRING in the air I knew I'd need to switch to something lighter.<p>I'm in awe! Absolute and utter awe! My friend asked which birthday it would be... she guessed 31, but only because she knew I took the 3-0 hard. It'll be 33 and she was AMAZED that I am wrinkle free, acne free and perfectly balanced without botox or anything extreme like that. Most people guess 27 once they've heard my work history, moves and education.<p>Three weeks of use and I am utterly hooked and it's just getting better! I did have some MINOR breakouts in the second week, but most changes/purging of the EVIL in the skin will do that. The pores on my and chin? Invisible! Red spots on my cheeks? GONE. In their place? Darned near FLAWLESS skin that is perfectly balanced.<p>Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!<p>Oh, Eau Roma or Breath of Fresh Air applied before the Gorgeous feels divine and really makes it last. I've barely made a dent in my pot and I use it twice a day "liberally". I'd like to have a vat to stick my whole body into.<p>The little bit extra left on my hands after applying to face/neck gets put on the décolleté and some stubborn acne scars on my back. It's brilliant!

This moisturizer is aptly named, as it certainly makes my skin feel and look gorgeous! Lightweight, smells absolutely beautiful, and my face feels velvety-soft. It seems to have reduced redness on my face and lets my pores breathe. It *is* very expensive, but I would probably buy it again since it lasts such a long time and has such good results. It costs what going out to dinner a few times with with my SO would cost, and is worth it for a product I'll use twice a day for nearly a year.

I do not have sensitive skin, and I really needed to find a good moisturizer. Being a former Mary Kay consultant, I had been using the MK moisturizer which is fine, but not fabulous. Then I stopped using moisturizer all together for several months, and switched to using goat milk soap and Bare Escentuals mineral foundation, which did wonders for my severely oil-prone face. However, I still have large pores and what seem to be permanent blackheads and blotchiness.<p>I recently discovered Lush and switched to Coal Face (at night) and Herbalism (in the morning). I LOVE those products. I wanted to try Gorgeous out, so I got a small pot. Unfortunately for me, it was a mess. It did not smell very good, for starters, but that isn't a show stopper for me. My problem was that while even using just a little bit, it made my skin greasy and I broke out in places I've never broken out before! I tried it for several days, but my skin just seemed to get worse.<p>It's such a shame, because I really was hoping for something to finally help my skin. Oh well, I'll have to try something else.

Gorgeous is an ok moisturizer, but I am a little disappointed. I have been using it for 3 weeks and so far there seems to be no change in my skin appearance. I still have several pimples and I still have dry patches. On the positive side the scent is great, and I love the lightweight non-greasy feel of it. It does seem to give my skin a bit of a glow. Before I got Gorgeous I used Cosmetic Lad and it worked much better for my sensitive acne prone skin. The main reason I wanted gorgeous was to whelp with my acne scars, and they actually seem to be fading much slower the with cosmetic lad. Plus, Cosmetic lad is about a quarter of the price of gorgeous, I would recommend to get the cheaper more effective option.

Beautiful fragrance and light weight feel. However, this moisturizer didn't work well for me. I didn't experience any actual benefit above and beyond my usual moisturizer. I tried a sample of Imperialis and I did have a noticable improvement in the color and evenness of my skin tone. I still give it 4 stars because it is a very fine and luxurious moisturizer, even if it doesn't work for my skin.

Sigh... I got another little sample of Gorgeous recently, and I just love it.. I had forgotten how great my skin feels afterwards. It smells heavenly, and it works wonders. Unfortunately, I would never be able to afford it.. Perhaps, if Lush cannot lower the price, maybe the can sell it in smaller batches so it's a little cheaper? I know it's worth every penny, and it probably lasts a long time since my sample lasted me a week, but I just can't afford it! :( minus one star for the price...

Yes, it's expensive but A) a little really does go a long way and B) It took me almost 4 months to work my way through my last pot of facial moisturizer. So divide roughly 80 bucks by 4 and that's 20 dollars a month you are investing in your skincare. When I was using crappy drugstore synthetic moisturizers I'd end up buying a container once a month (20 bucks a pop). This stuff is SO much better and it really is nirvana for your skin. Trust me, if you use this people will be asking what you are using on your face for it to look so wonderful left and right. Bow down before the greatness of Lush for creating such an awesome facial moisturizer!

This project is absolutley amazing. It's a great moisturizer that is air-soft and not to heavy, but still does the job. It gets only 3 stars, however, because of the price. If you've got the money, then great. But for those on a budget, try something else.

Gorgeous gets five stars from me because it is heavy duty moisture that doesn't at all feel heavy. Melts into my skin leaving a clean finish and keeps me moisturized ALL DAY. The smell is so precious, too. This formula was created for Princess Diana and was later purchased by Lush, so when I open the jar, I always feel like a princess. They should actually rename it Princess because it's very delicate and soft.

Of course it would have to be the most expensive moisturizer that actually works with my skin! This makes my skin GLOW and it moisturizes without making my skin break out. Now that it is winter I have had a few little dry places show up, but overall I am very pleased with this product. Took a star off for price and scent. It smells a lot like Prince shaving cream, which I know a lot of people like, but I just find it an okay scent.

I have very sensitive skin and I bought the glamour puss gift set so I could try this before I shelled out $80. All I have to say is it would be the best $80 ever spent. After my first use I woke up and my skin felt firmer and there was a glow. Plus the little bit of acne that was on my forehead when I went to sleep was gone. The smell I don't care much for but it is well worth working through for the end result

with each day that i use this product (its been about five days) ... i'm falling more and more in love with it!<p>after pouring over reviews to see if i really should drop some cash on it, i caved. <p>i break out pretty bad around my mouth area and lower half of my face, i've been battling with it for months now (it comes and goes, really weird) ... so far, my skin is noticeably softer, redness has decreased and my old acne scars are starting to fade out. i also haven't had a single breakout since i started using it, and dont feel anymore coming on (i get painful cystic like acne).<p>it also gives me the perfect amount of moisture, not too much and not too little! at first i was a bit nervous because my skin felt like it might become oily, but it only becomes dewy. <p>i love this product! <p>and i love you lush :D

I had high hopes for Gorgeous after reading all the amazing reviews. I can honestly say that after using Gorgeous for over a month, there have been no 'miracles' to my skin. Not like it's made my skin any worse, but definately hasn't made it any better. Too thick and left a slightly sticky residue. Definately not worth the money. The scent however is quite pleasant.

I love this product which I purchased on my first trip to the Lush Portabello Road location in London. At first I was skeptical because the saleswoman sold it to me as the cream created for Princess Diana (which is true afterall). Now that I've used it, I know why Diana loved it so. There is no irritation. It simply makes your skin softer, more glowing and healthier looking without any irritants or chemicals. It does have an odd smell but even that grows on you. I LOVE this product and while I hesitated to pay nearly $90 US Dollars - it was worth it and I'll reorder.

My skin is a trainwreck. Actually...."was" is the proper word to use. I have blemishes...old acne scars...redness...my skin makes me think of a calico kitten...splotchy. To top it off it's super oily. And sensitive....I have worn makeup since the 8th grade. I tried dept store brand moisturizers. No go. I finally got a sample of this one day at checkout...I tried it that night...and kept using it for the past week and half. My skin is so lovely. I mean, it's not the same skin i had as a newborn, but then I'd be asking too much, no? But I actually went out in public with no makeup for the first time last week. And I actually was not afraid to show my face to the world. I got so many compliments...people I work with took notice. I can use this day and night.<br>I paired it with herbalism and it's worked some super magic. <p>Keep doing the voodoo you do Lush!<br>This one is a keeper.<br>Thank you.

I'm in my 30's and its taken 5 years off--my skin feels plumper and dewey like in my 20's! I apply just a few dabs on cheeks, forehead and neck after a cleansing.. is not oily at all, no breakouts or irritations; and I have sensitive skin. DEFINITELY worth every dollar! This is the best moisturizer I've ever used. I have been using oil-free moisturizers for years and was a little bit apprehensive about trying Gorgeous, what with all of the oils it contains, but it has been absolutely wonderful to my skin. I look forward to washing my face because it feels so divine after I scrub it with Ocean Salt or Coalface and then apply Gorgeous. I immediately noticed an improvement in the appearance and texture of my skin, and after several weeks of use, it just keeps improving. It is radiant, smooth, and break-out free. Gorgeous is expensive, but you don't need more than a fingertip-full, and it looks like my pot is going to last for several months. It's definitely worth it.

I LOVE the smell. Looking forward to more of my free sample, hope positive results last. The price is very steep, but am considering investing in this, as it looks really good. Giving it four stars as i only applied once so far. Definitely a promising product :) Will be commenting later on when I use it over longer period of time. Thanx Lush :).

Absolutely worth every penny. I have tried other cheaper moisturizers and they don't hold a candle to it. The smell seems to change a little after you open it, however its not unpleasant. The jar lasts about 6 months, so really, its only about $15 a month. You have to use it more than a week because it takes time for your skin to get used to a new product. Once my skin settled down, it was so much easier to take care of. Impossible to match.

Love Love Love it! I am a tough critic, I have crazy skin---dry/oily/acne... I was a little scared to buy it, because my skin is such a pain about anything I put on it and breaks out. This made my skin so soft from the moment I put it on! It has been about a week or so and the tone, color and fine lines has improved significantly. I was using peptide serums (after moisturizer)to help with the fine lines---but it was just a quick fix and super expensive I may add. Now I just use Gorgeous a.m/p.m.and I am good to go. I love the smell and it is not too oily to use as a day moisturizer--but thick enough for night. :) THX LUSH it is worth every penny---and I am fairly frugal.

I got a little of this when I bought Sexy Four which was based on an SA's suggestion because she said Gorgeous would be best for my oily skin in the winter. Well, I did try it in the winter, but my face is an oil slick and I now know that Enzymion is the better moisturizer for me. So I forgot about it and put it aside. But recently, I have been really diligent about my skin care regimen and decided to put Gorgeous on at night. True, I wake up and my face is oily (but then, it would be oily without as well), but I DO notice a huge reduction in acne, a fast healing of current acne, and fading of old acne scars. So, I would buy, I mean steal Gorgeous from my mom just so I could use it as a night time cream because anything that improves the condition of my face this fast is fine by me.

Okay, I'm 40, and have greasy/dry/breakout prone/huge pores/ruddy skin (makes me sound pretty hot, eh?). I really want to take care of my face, because at my age, its not going to get any better. But anything other than soap (gasp! - I know...) makes me look like a teenager (except with crows feet). Everyone says, "You need a regimen. You need moisturizer." Yet everything I try winds up backfiring - no matter the price. On a lark, I tried this product. (I liked the name - and I'm a sucker for good marketing.) I've been using it for several months now and really like it. No breakouts. No redness. No massive greasy pores. I look forward to patting it on morning and evening. The scent - while curious - I find very pleasant. I'll be buying this product again, and I'd recommend it to anyone who just can't find something to suit their mixed up, still-thinks-its-a-teenager, but really is rapidly-approaching-needing-botox skin.

I have had problem skin for quite awhile. I suffer from a skin condition called Rosacea which was leaving my skin red & inflammed. I have tried all kinds of medicated creams which only corrected the problem for short periods & left my skin dry & peeling. Believe it or not after only acouple of days using gorgeous cream I became Rosacea free!! Its been a month now & I haven't had 1 flare up! My skin as never been softer or clearer. The cream is a bit costly but well worth the money. I allowed my sister to try it...it got rid of her acne overnight! It is amazing. I will definitely continue to purchase this product as it has worked miracles for me!!

I held on to review this up to now - I don't know why because I had a sample a long while ago and remember I loved it, and I was so sad this was so costy, but back then I didn't have a permanent job so this seemed like an arm and a leg for me, but now I do have a job, so yeah, and I got it again with that four products pack, and OH MY GOD, I am addicted again. Now, too bad, when this little thing will be over, I'll be spending that 80$ for one of this, because it's amazing, it feels fresh, I'm in love with the scent, it's one of my favorites product ever, and I got to try creams that were costing twice more and did not have half the effect of Gorgeous. It's worth every penny, and I know that was actually the effect you guys wanted in putting this in that pack, to get everyone addicted. lol. You managed it. Evil you. XD But yeah, can't survive without it anymore.

This smells and feels great. Not greasy at all, absorbs quickly and the smell isn't overpowering. I took one star off because it's a little pricy but when I get that big raise at work, I'm buying this again for sure. Do Lush staff get discounts off products? Maybe I should work at Lush.

I don't think much of this as a moisturizer but here's what it does that I didn't notice anyone else mention - it puts me to sleep and cures insomnia! The first time I put it on I passed out almost immediately. I thought that was strange since it has such a strong orange scent, it seemed counterintuitive. Then I read the list of ingredients - it has to be the evening primrose.

Got this in the little four pack and used it for the first time tonight post-shower. I have rosacea and it seems not to inflame my face too much and is not that greasy that I feel like I have bath oil on my face. This is the only way that I would be using this product, as my husband would shoot me if I spent $80 on this stuff unless it made me look 18 again. I will be sparingly applying this to get the full effect, but holy crap, this stuff is expensive!

I've seen creams similar to this, with ingredients that are less fresh, sell for biggggg bucks. Compared to that, this one's a bargain and smells just as gorgeous.

You definitely get what you pay for with Lush moisturizers, I have found. And you get great results with Gorgeous. The neroli oil improves my skin's elasticity (I'm only 23, but I have a few wrikles that I don't want to get out of hand) and has helped fade some light acne scars I had. I only had a sample, but I think it's gonna be worth the money to buy a full size pot. :-)

I have dry skin and was looking for a night cream when I tried this on my hand in the store. I also put on another moisturizer on my other hand and decided to wait to think about it. That evening I noticed a big difference (even after a shower) in the texture and feel of my 'gorgeous' hand. I then had some people do a feel test on my hands and they all thought my gorgeous hand was softer. SOLD! I went the next day and bought it. I was told that if you mix it with one of their toners that you can make it last longer with the same effects but I don't do that. A little goes a long way. I think it's worth the extra $$.

I have been using the sample for a week now. I have combination skin and I don't feel much difference other than it makes my skin a little softer and less oily during the day. It's probably a better moisturizer for me in the summer and I will probably purchase the full size since it's a better deal than La Mer.

The only problem I have with this product is the price of it. Although I loved using it, I have yet to actually buy a pot of it.

I usually get breakouts everytime I try a new and rich cream. Maybe I'm getting old (46), but this cream is everything it pertains to be. It's an excellent moisturizer, and it smells absolutely "gorgeous". I don't know about anti-aging properties, but it certainly keeps my skin soft and smooth all day. I'm afraid whoever finds that it smells like tortillas may have stumbled upon a batch that may not have been fresh or left in the heat to long, which is a distinct possibility with cold-pressed oils and no preservatives. To me, it just smells great. I can't wait to try Skins Shangri La!

Very nourishing, but maybe not the best day cream for an oilier skin. The scent is also very strong.. during the day I kept on having these citrusy wiffs (kind of akward for a face cream). I like it as a night cream, but I dont totally think its worth the money.

The best moisturizer Lush makes, hands down. I used Enzymion previously but my skin gets drier during the winter so I tried Gorgeous because it seemed thicker and more moisturizing. Amazingly, it moisturizes my skin more but absorbs oil better than Enzymion so my skin doesn't flake after washing but doesn't get shiny after a few hours either. For example, I put it on last night before bed and couldn't stop touching my face because it was so smooth. I woke up in the morning and it felt like I had just applied it. Perfect!

I'd been shopping around for the right moisturizer for a long time, and after reading so many great reviews for Gorgeous, decided to take the plunge and buy some for myself as an early Christmas gift late last November. The first night that I applied it I almost couldn't go to sleep because all I could smell was orange. It was like that the next day too, so I wised up and decided that directly under my nose probably didn't need too much moisturizing. During the first two weeks I broke out on my forehead and jawline and was beginning to regret not trying a sample first. Now I'm glad I didn't just get a sample because after my skin got used to the ingredients and calmed down I've found my skin markedly smoother in tone and texture and almost feels like it's glowing. I most definitely feel Gorgeous! Me being 27 and having skin problems since I was 8, that says alot. I'll glady shell out the money for it.

My parents had several orange trees in their yard, and I loved the smell of the blooming flowers. I also LOVE the smell of Gorgeous! It's scent smells just like those orange trees. It does a fantastic job of moisturizing my skin without causing blemishes, and I haven't been able to find another moisturizer that accomplishes this amazing feat. I only need to use it sparingly to get wonderful results. I agree it's pricey, but to finally be acne-free after 25+ years, it's worth it!!!

This moisturiser is amazing!!!! It feels great on my skin and it's nice and light. I hope they never change it. Never ever. Except the packaging I guess. It would be better in a pump or squeeze tube, because it costs too much to have a cat hair or other yuckiness fall in it (which I have had happen, but I continue to use it and try not to think about the bacteria that's probably floating around in it now).

I've been using Gorgeous for 3 weeks now...and wow, my skin does look gorgeous! This moisturizer has evened out my skin tone and given my skin a healthy glow. This cream seems gentle enough to use on the most delicate skin. It even healed the rough, red, tender skin around my nose (thanks to the flu!) and didn't sting the slightest bit.

I have also tried Celestial and Skins Shangri La but Gorgeous is better by far. A little goes a long way so even though the price seems steep, it's relaly not too bad. My skin: sensitive, normal-dry, pale, freckled, skin that is prone to breaking out if I use anything too heavy or greasy.

This product is worth EVERY PENNY. The scent is heavenly, but that only touches the surface of it's brilliance. A tiny dab will cover your entire face, and keep you moisturized all day. My oily skin loves it. It mattes like Enzymion without drying me out where I need the moisture. My skin has improved dramatically (acne, be gone!) since I have started using Gorgeous, and as long as LUSH sells it, I will own it.

Gorgeous smells yummy & works miracles for your skin. I'm 22 years old and my skin still behaves like I am just hitting puberty so I was aprehensive to try this somewhat costly item. However, once using it a few times, I fell in love. My skin has never been so soft and healthy looking. It's not been clogging my pores like most other moisturizers do. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and I will be using it for a long time... as long as it keeps my skin in this great of a condition, I will be buing again and again.

I was a little reluctant to buy this as the price is high and I have fallen into the
if- its-expensive-it-must-be-the-best trap with skincare products before only to find that they worked no better or worse than thier cheaper counterparts.
I have to say though that Gorgeous is worth it. I have very picky breakout prone skin and have had little luck with moisturizers in the past. Gorgeous has done a great job of getting my skin into shape, after a few weeks of using a lot of my acne scars have faded and I'm not breaking out at all. My skin also has a very smooth texture and tone. It also is a great mattifier, by noon everyday my nose always used to look like an oil slick but not anymore.

So yeah, Gorgeous is worth the high price. I figure now I'm going to save money as I won't be rushing out to buy the next brand new 'miracle' skin cream.

Ok hitting my wallet with 72+ definately hurts, but I can say that Gourgous has made me face smooth and glowing and my fine line has plumped back up, its gone. I bought this with Enchanted Eye Cream and Mirror Mirror Neck Cream and my usual Coalface to give my neck/face a daily overhaul. I'm 27 and I get accused of being 18-20 all the time. I blame the lush face products but now I can blame gourgous this year for banishing my fisrt fine line. I figure 72 twice a year is still cheaper then a face lift.

Fabulous stuff, this is!!
If you enjoy the fragrance of neroli (orange blossom), which I do, you will love this cream. It is thick, smooth, and silky, yet not heavy at all. I like to dampen my face with toner to help it go on smoothly and evenly, since it absorbs so quickly. My face felt smooth and lovely, yet did not get oily/greasy by the end of the day. I have oily, large-pored skin, and I have great hopes for this cream, price by damned!

The wonderful staff at my local LUSH gave my sister a very generous sample of Gorgeous. Her skin behaves differently from mine, so she let me take it. I was reluctant to try it as I have been a very satisfied devotee of Dr. Hauschka's Rose Day Cream for 8+ years, and my temperamental, sensitive/dry skin does not fare well when I change products. I tried it today, and loved its fresh smell. Unlike my usual cream, it absorbed into my face instantly and didn't leave an oily film. My skin just felt nicely moisturized and healthy. Gorgeous costs a fair amount more than my old cream, so I'm still considering making a permanent switch, but it is definitely an outstanding product.

I can't get over how much I love this stuff... smells so wonderful, sinks in so you know that all that good stuff is going to your skin not rubbing off on your pillow at night or sweating away under your makeup in the day.

It is expensive, but it goes a long long way. I used to have big guilt over the price until my husband said, "You're beautiful and you deserve something gorgeous, anyway, its not like you have a spare face or anything. Might as well take care of it." What a sweetie, and what an amazing wonderful product.

I was given a generous sample of Gorgeous moisturizer at my last trip to Lush and have been using it for about a week and a half now-- and I LOVE it!! At first I didn't feel anything, but after about three days I definately noticed a difference in the feel of my skin... I'm sooooo smooth!! It doesn't make me break out at all, doesn't bother my semi-sensitive skin, makes my skin look more toned, and is perfect day and night. It's great under makeup, too! Gorgeous is very expensive for me, but I'm planning on buying a pot... with results like these, the price is worth it!!

I knocked a star off just for the price, but the product itself is everything it's cracked up to be. The nice people at the Georgetown (Washington, DC) Lush gave me a sample last month. Lovely, lovely, lovely; it's just not 4 times as lovely as the Imperialis I've been using for the past few years, so my Midwestern upbringing simply won't let me purchase a pot.

I've seen several comments about Lush's moisturizers lacking SPF. Please, please PLEASE don't EVER put SPF in ANYTHING, unless it's an actual sunBLOCK, like titanium dioxide. Many of us with very sensitive skin can't use any products with typical sunscreens in them -- they actually form a chemical bond with the skin, which gives me hideous dermatitis -- and most commercial products now have them. There's very little out there anymore that I can buy off the shelf and use on my face. Lush has been a lifesaver for my 40-and-then-some skin, with it's near-total lack of chemical nasties. Keep fighting the good fight, Lush!!

This was one of my first Lush items, given to me as a gift from my mom since I disliked the scent of the other moisturizers. It's FANTASTIC stuff, well worth the price! My skin looks so much nicer now, and I can see a difference each morning from what it looked like the night before. My skin tone seems to have evened out a bit, an addtional plus. The texture is lovely, creamy but not too thick or thin, meaning it goes on well without excessive pressure, and the scent is great. I use it 2-3 times per day (morning and evening, plus after the gym) and one pot looks to last me right at about 2 months (including filling travel pots).

I was given a sample of Gorgeous and decided to do an experiment. I would use it on one cheek for a week and at the end of the week compare cheeks. After two days I could already see a difference. My husband commented on how nice my skin looked (and smelled!). The redness diminished and my skin was more even. The sample lasted two weeks, but I put in an order before that! It is amazing stuff. Plus it's been a month since I bought it and I've barely made a dent in it. I use it once a day and anticipate that it will last another 5 months. That breaks down to $12 a month, a bargain! Get a sample, try my experiment and see for yourself.

FABULOUS PRODUCT! I got a free sample from the helpful staff at the Portland store last weekend. I used it all this week and completely fell in love with it. So, I hopped on-line to order it and my jaw dropped at the $72 price tag. I give the price 4 stars because $72 is really steep for a college student, but I give the product itself 5 stars because it is amazing. It smells really fresh and goes on light (not greasy or thick). The LUSH salesgirl told me to use just a tiny bit of lotion, so I'm not sure why it is sold in such a huge pot. I highly recommend this product, so if the $72 is too steep I recommend going in on this with a friend so that you can split the gorgeous goodness and the price. I've been using the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser/scrub and moisturizing with Gorgeous and I am a VERY satisfied customer. PLUS an added bonus I didn't expect: My boyfriend loves the smell and it's really cute when he says, "You smell Gorgeous!" A great product that works and smells great with added boyfriend compliments? I'm sold!

The fact that it is not greasy and soaks in so nicely is a huge plus. I am now only halfway through it and it has been almost 4 months and I use it pretty much daily. I too thought the price was high at first but now I believe it is totally worth every penny due to the quality and the fact that it lasts so long. I love it!!!!

I've been workingon a sample of this and so far I'm not disappointed.
A little bit goes a looong way and you only need a very thin layer. This stuff properly soaks into my skin within about 5-10 minutes and works well under my make-up.
The smell is nice but could be better.

I think Lush should work on their packaging. They would do well with a pump bottle or something.

Can't even begin to say enough about this moisturizer! Smells lovely, and has a fantastic texture, but most importantly absorbs quickly (without leaving no greasy residue) but leaves skin feeling nourished and... plump, for lack of a better word.

I've been having an awful time with my combo skin's flaking off in dry places this winter, and the combination of gorgeous and catastrophe cosmetic has completely solved the problem for me!

The price may seem off-putting at first, but in comparison to department store moisturizers it isn't that expensive at all (the cream it replaced in my regimen was $125/oz.!), and a little certainly goes a long way.

I was brave enough to ask for a sample of this when I went to the store today. The SA gave me a generous amount.
To be honest, my skin is pretty nice and smooth(thanks to LemSlip!)already, I only got the sample out of curiosity. I tried it on tonight after washing my face with LemSlip then coating with Eau Roma Water Toner.
It just FEELS different!
It went on perfecting smooth and light. I've NEVER experienced light moisturiser. Every single one I've used so far is greasy, not to mention it looks gross under the sun (so I always avoid applying it on my T-Zone). However, Gorgeous worked on my T-Zone!!! This is an hour after applyin it, and there's no oil on my nose!
I have not tried any other moisturiser in LUSH, but last time when I went to the store, the SA sampled the toner and another mois. on my face (Skin Drink) and it was way too heavy for me.
Anyway, Gorgeous smells like tea to me (which I like). I ain't going to rate it as I've only used it once, and I won't be able to tell you how great it works since I don't have troubled skin to start with. I can only tell you that it FEELS GREAT on my face, and I might save money for this one. I don't mind the price, really. LUSH's stuff is never on the cheap side, but as fas as the quality (and omg the scents!) goes, I'll say they are all worth it. I believe this one is expensive for a reason. And please, if you have nice skin already, any other cheap brand would work on your face (since you can't tell if it really has an effect once or ever)... why would you come here and complain that Gorgeous makes no difference?

I was very happy to have been given a sample of this after purchasing a lot at my Lush store. I am fairly new to Lush so I would not have thought to try this. I love everything about it. The smell, the feel, and the wonderful ingredients! I hope to use this for years to come.

For the past 4 years I have been paying just under 30 dollars more for the same amount of a department store brand moisturizer. Think about this. Department store.. a place where you can buy a toaster and cheesy costume jewelry and hideous fad make-up...whereas LUSH specializes in skin. I figured they at least deserved a fair chance.

I have had my tub for one day, which means three applications. I will write again after a few weeks, but so far I have found that Gorgeous:
1) Soaks in immediately, it does not lay there like a dust drawing mask
2) Does not feel greasy or heavy, no matter how much I slather on because it is soaking in so fast.
3) Smells a little different than I am accustomed too, but I dont like the smell of those perfumey department store brands all that much either...
4) My husband stroked my face this evening, and I dont know if it's the Coalface, the Angels on Bare skin or the Gorgeous, but he smiled and sighed. Best compliment ever.

PS Read Erica's comment below. It's nice to know all those things when comparing this to Lancome, Estee Lauder, Clinique, et al.

I agree with Maureen and Erica. Gorgeous is an outstanding product made with the highest quality ingredients. I recenly received a very generous sample of Gorgeous during my last visit to Lush and I am astounded by how well it works. I have only been using it for two and a half weeks and will be purchasing a tub ASAP.

I have used La Mer for almost 8 years now but found that Gorgeous works so much better as an all-around, every day, morning and night-time moisturizer. La Mer is an outstanding cream, but it is way too thick to use during the day and it definitely makes your skin look extremely greasy.

Gorgeous makes your skin feel naturally moisturized, because it sinks right in. It calms any reddness in my face, dries matte and makes me look instantly, well, gorgeous! About the scent: There is nothing wrong with the scent. Sure it doesn't smell like chocolate, but the scent people are complaining about vanishes after a few moments and to me it just smells fresh and citrusy.

Frankly, I feel, after paying $195 for 2 oz. of La Mer every few months, the price of Gorgeous is an absolute steal. Gorgeous is, without question, the best product to keep my face properly moisturized at all times. I only wish I had tried it sooner.

I work at Lush and just have some info for everyone complaining about the price. It is on par with department store brands such as Lancome, so please don't compare it to drug store level synthetic loaded creams. The price is so high because of the raw materials- Neroli oil causes cell regeneration, fresh pineapple and lemon juices are loaded with enzymes that mattify the face, and the cold pressed evening primrose, wheatgerm, and avacado oils are loaded with antioxidants like vitamin E which ward off free radicals that age your skin. Cold pressed entails taking the actual plant and using an extremely expensive machine to literally squeeze the oil out of the plant without heating it. You pay for what you get, which is superior protection against free radicals, an even skin tone, no more foundation, and a glowing, healthy, vitamin-fed face.

The lemons are also handscrubbed by the farmer who grows them to preserve their high quality. Do not underestimate the amount of love and expertise that has been poured into Gorgeous. So please, save your price comments, no one is forcing you to buy it, and at least be respectful and appreciative of the fact that Lush has created such a beautiful product. Trying a sample does not do it justice as I know from experience, you need to buy the whole tub. It's not like we don't have an amazing return policy anyways. And I do not suggest buying off Ebay, you don't know where it has been or how old it really is. This is your face, the thing that everyone first sees and sees the most of, including you. Doesn't it deserve to be fed well on the inside and out?

I can't describe the smell except that I don't love it - what I do love is the effect that this little pot has on my face. My mother Never compliments me, but the other day she asked me what foundation I had on...all I had on was gorgeous - man did it feel good to tell her it was just my skin :-D
The price is pretty steep though, which helps teach me to use it very sparingly. Sorry Mom can't share :(

The price is pretty ridiculous... but the efects are amazing. As soon as I put it on, it started calming my sensitive skin, moisturizing the dry spots and mattefying any oilyness I might have! I use it morning and night after AOBS and after using both products together for about 2 months, I am happy to say, that my skin is now even toned, I have NO irritation, dryness and/or oilyness is now non-existent, and best of all, my acne has cleared up, and hasn't been coming back! I also use the cupcake fresh mask twice a week which helps mostly for making m skin smooth and learing up breakouts.

As for the scent, there is definately room for improvement. I have grown to the scent by now, but when I first tried this stuff, I was pretty grossed out. It doesn't smell at all like orange blossoms! Even so, the results of this cream are so great I am giving this product 5 STARS!!!

I can't say that I care for the smell of this one (I absolutely despise neroli and the orangey fruitiness is another thing I don't care for in anything I'm going to be using on my body - I love eating oranges, but not smelling like them, thank you very much), BUT as long as a moisturizer works and doesn't make me sick (like something with almond essential oil would), I'll deal with a little bit of "ick factor" when it comes to the scent.

I absolutely love Celestial, but I've been looking for something a little more heavy duty (effect wise; Celestial is wonderful but a bit undistinguished in its effects) but Skin's Shangri La was too heavy for my sensitive, easily irritated skin and was making me break out, so I exchanged my two pots of Skin's Shangri La for Gorgeous and decided to give it a try.

The first thing I noticed about Gorgeous (aside from the icky orange/orange blossom scent) was the texture. This is similar to Celestial or possibly even Dream Cream in texture - light, smooth, easy to apply. I like a moisturizer that is light enough that I don't feel like I'm wearing a mask and Gorgeous definitely falls into that category.

Putting it on, I was thrilled. It was light, easy to smooth on and it seemed to absorb almost immediately without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling on my skin. It also seemed to immediately soothe my skin (my face tends to get irritated after I wash it - the rubbing makes my skin red, even using the gentlest of cleansers), which is always a plus in a moisturizer (and one of the reasons I love using Dream Cream on my face).

I put Gorgeous on before I went to bed and when I woke up in the morning I was thrilled! My skintone was evened out (no redness!), my face was soft as a baby's bottom and I looked refreshed and healthy.

This is undoubtedly the right moisturizer for me (as is Celestial, but for different reasons). The price is actually quite reasonable, too, considering the tiny amount of lotion needed per application.

I was fortunate to be sent a sample from a friend in the UK. So far, I really like this lotion. It's creamy and not heavy at all. I have combination skin; Gorgeous seems to respond well to both needs. Plus, the scent is to die for - heavenly neroli! An excellent daytime cream, as the description suggests.

I have sometimes-oily, sometimes-dry combination skin, and this was light, easily absorbed, and just lovely. The smell of my moisturizer is a huge deciding factor for me, and this smelled like sweet orange heaven. I couldn't stop sniffing my own skin!

I might use something heavier for a night cream (like Skin's Shangri-La, perhaps) but for day, this is perfect.

So far, i'm giving it three stars. I was graciously given a sample in the Herald Square NYC store. I used it today, after washing with Angels on Bare Skin. I like the way it feels, very much. I was told the high price was because the oils in it are cold pressed and that makes them pure and more emolient. I can tell this is the truth after using it. I have a random small dry spot on my face that gets flaky, even through other moisturizers and my make up. I also have sensitive skin, and two other moisturizers, Skin Shangrila and Imperialis, both made me break out. Hopefully, this will not cause any problems, but so far, so good!

The best moisturizer I've ever tried! I have oily skin and used to be prone to breakouts but Gorgeous is light and lovely and makes my face glow (in a good way, not a greasy way).

People have complained about the cost--and it is pretty expensive. But consider how much money you may spend on other expensive brands that don't work for you. Also it takes so little that the pot lasts me for months, ultimately making it more cost effective.

Gorgeous is expensive; but if you're like me and have skin that can't decide from day to day whether it wants to be 13 or 30 it's a godsend that's worth every penny. This is the only thing I've *ever* found that is light enough that I don't break out but moisterizing enough that I don't have those crepey wrinkles around my eyes. I got a sample of this that was about 1/4 or 1/5 the size of the pot and it lasted me just over two months. 80$ for eight or ten months isn't bad at all when you really think about it.

this is the only moisturizer I use on my face now! It is great for the climate here in Florida, and my skin looks a lot better since I've been using it. Now I just wish you would open a Lush store near Naples, FL.

My favorite Lush moisturizer. I'm still on my first pot, and there's still plently left. It leaves my skin moisturized but not at all greasy or oily. It's not heavy, it smells nice , it doesn't clog pores or cause breakouts and it feels great. As for the price... there is a bit of saving up to do, for me at least. Hoever, it is worth it. Gorgeous is so fantastic, I love it!

I bought it and it's wonderful. The price tag makes it totally self-indulgent but cheaper than a nice dinner out or a day at the spa. And you can enjoy it morning, noon and night....

For people considering straying from Enzymion to Gorgeous, keep in mind that because of that amazing papaya in Enzymion, it's the reason your face looks so perfectly matte and needs no makeup application after. I don't see the papaya in Gorgeous' ingredient list and I definately don't see it on my face!!! So, there ya go, your budget might thank you too!

This is the best moisturizer I have ever used. I have normal skin, but with the tiniest bit of shine in my T-zone. Gorgeous makes my skin feel soft and smooth, and leaves a nice fresh matte look. I don't even need powder. I onlyuse a tiny bit at a time, so I can tell it is going to last a long time. As for the price...I don't really care. I deserve it.

I wasn't crazy about this cream when I tried it. It was too heavy for day and too light for night use and it goes into the skin too fast! Of course you want it to absorb, but not before you have a chance to spread it on your face properly.
This is my second review because I decided to give it another try. It was even worse the 2nd time around, nearly broke out. I wonder if I may be allergic to it?

I got a sample of this in the store, enough for 2 weeks. A little goes a long way! The smell is FABULOUS and it makes your skin GLOW. I had tons of comments on my skin looking so fresh. I will save up and buy this in a full size for sure

This product is divine. Smells nice, and leaves my skin feeling really nice, not "just moisturized." I have normal skin, with the very very beginnings of fine lines. I felt like Gorgeous gave me the moisture I wanted without any tackiness. I knocked off a star because...well, I always do. Lush, put some SPF in your products! I hate having to layer on my own sunscreen. And as far as the price goes...a very little goes a very long way, and if you have the disposable income, Gorgeous is worth it.

I have sensitive/combination skin (gets dry in winter). This cream seems expensive but a tiny drop covers a whole face. My cheeks feel like baby cheeks..! really!! I personally love celestial better (a lot cheaper.... yet gives me amazing silky skin).

I was really excited to try this moisturizer, but after using it for 2 weeks, I have to report that it's just 'ok'. I find it's texture too heavy for daytime and not heavy enough for evening so it doesn't really work for me. Everyday that I used it in the daytime, by the end of the day my skin was borderlining on a breakout. I also found it didn't 'spread' easily over my face and kind of absorbed too quickly in one area. I tried different methods of applying it with no luck. I'm still giving it 3 stars for the scent which is really nice.
If you have combination/oily skin save your money and get their Imperialis lotion instead...or my skin's new best friend, Kiehl's Cryste Marine cream...sorry Lush! ;)

I love it!! My skin feels and looks great. I have oily skin and it is hard for me to find a mouisterizer that controls the oil but doesn't leave my skin dry. Great job Lush!! My only complaint is that it smeals like Pleasure Treasure (i. e. mexican food), but the effects are well worth the smell. As for the price, I've spent a lot more on less worthy creams. These pots last me at least 4 months, so you are realy only paying a little less than $20 a month. My skin is worth it!

Gorgeous has been amazing for my combination skin! I bought some from the UK before it came out in NA. A little goes a long way, and even at this price I will continue to use it. The scent is absolutely delicious, and I have a feeling that one pot will last quite a long time. I have spent a lot of money on different things that haven't worked at all for me, so finding that "perfect product" is truly priceless!

This is an absolutely amazing facial product, which I was lucky enough to win a pot of. It smells like fresh orange blossom and is light, quick to absorb, but very moisturizing. Skin improves noticeably with this lotion, lines decrease and everything smoooothes out nicely. Unfortunately, you have to really cough it up $$, which I think prices me out of the Gorgeous market. It really is awesome though.
