I love the way this smells, but it doesn't lather well and for the price of it you would think you would get a little more. But the smell does linger on your skin for a while. When I finished I was still getting random whiffs of for a while even after the bath.

I got this bar to try for the first time and fell in love instantly! It's soft and moisturizing! It reminds me of walking outside in the summer and smelling my tea scented rose bushes! I love, love, love this soap! I have to say, it is my favorite girly soap!!! I'm begging that they change their minds on discontinuing this soap! I will have to stock up soon!!!

I received this "flavor" as a free sample with my very first Lush order. I was grateful and suprised by the bonuses. However, while this soap does smell wonderful (like REAL roses and not that fake rose scent that is so often used), I find it does not lather well and leaves my skin feeling dry. I am happy to say that I am very pleased with the items I actually ordered and welcome any samples so I can become better aquanted with the Lush product line.

This one was a bummer, it didnt smell like anything! No rose or citrus! The soap left my skin soft but no smell at all.

I love the smell of roses and the faint smell of lemon. This soap makes my skin feel like a babies bottom:) Use it anytime your skin feels lifeless and dry.

I got this as a sample from a Lush store. The smell is GORGEOUS. This is the perfect soap if you love the smell of roses. I also found it lathered pretty well, a problem I've had before with solid soap. The only problem is that I have an on-again/off-again mild citrus allergy, and so I'm hesitant to buy a block of this (with all the orange and lemon in it) in case the allergy comes back. Please make more citrus-free products, Lush! Especially rose-scented ones!

I love this!I've always wanted to go to a lush store and I found one,I smelled all the soaps.This is one I liked.My favorite was Honey I Washed the Kids,but my sister got Ring of Roses because she loves roses.Me?I don't like the scent of roses,but this!I love the smell!It smells so fresh and relaxing.It also lathers and cleans really nice.

Well, I'd never tried a buttercream before, so I was expecting a lot more from it. This soap is very gentle and good for sensitive skin. However, the smell isn't delicious enough, or strong enough, to keep me coming back for more. It doesn't linger on your skin after you leave the shower. I'm now using the rest as my hand soap, since my hands are very sensitive to generic hand soaps. This seems to be working in that regard.

This product smells absolutely amazing, the scent is just totally relaxing to me every time I use it.

For me, it lathers well and cleans effectively. It gives you that tight feeling that makes your skin feel really clean.

I started using this a while after I got it (2 months or so), so the smell may have changed. It's VERY rosey, and lathers incredibly well. Doesn't dry me out, which is great. The smell is a little sharp, but this may be due to it just sitting around, so I'd recommend using it soon after purchase. Cleans very nicely!

I love citrus smell but the sales person at gtown told me that citrus will be to aggressive for my dry skin, so she told me to use this one.
And the smell is great !! I hate the smell of strong rose perfume but the combination of rose and lemon is awsome!
since it's moisturizing a lot, it does not lather A LOT, but again the sales person told me it's before of the oil and butter and stuff... but I think it's enough !! It does not leave my skin dry and I did not have to put as much body lotion!
I love it and would recommend it to anyone with dry skin or with normal skin and does not want to put body cream afterwards.
It's a little expensive but I'm sure it's gonna last a long time ! tbc

I love this soap. It smells great and moisturizes my hands pretty well. However, it doesn't lather as well as other soaps like The Godmother do, and so I had to mark it down a star. :( Sorry. I would definitely recommend this!

What kind of super genius combines rose and lemon? Rose can be beautiful but can smell dusty and grandmaish. Lemon is cheerful but it can be overwhelming. Put them together and you have a romantic (not corny) sweet (not cloying), lively (but gentle) scent that is completely original and wonderful and oddly familiar. This soap is moisturizing and benefits from a loofah to get a good lather. The creaminess does cause it to dissolve faster, but I can get away with not using a body lotion post shower. Ring of Roses is the same scent and the Amanopondo bubble bar. If you like one, you'll probably like the other, and it's pure luxury to use both at the same time.

The fragrance of this soap is to die for. Heavenly. I love this one so much I need to have at least 2 spares on hand... partly because my neice, my sister, and others keep "borrowing" them. A bit of info for you complainers... you DO NOT need lather to get clean... it is just fun, so stop saying you don't get enough suds to wash up properly. Just use a bath puff for lather (which you do not need anyhow). I wish this came in a shower gel also, and a bubble bar, and a melt... Please never stop making this soap.

I bought this because rose is my favorite scent, and this soap has an intense, true rose smell that is BEAUTIFUL. It was very relaxing to use in the shower, and did leave my skin feeling much softer.

It doesn't bother me that this soap doesn't lather, but I would recommend applying more of it than you would with most soaps, to get the full moisturizing effect.

The one downside for me is that I really wish that awesome smell was stronger after showering and lasted longer on my skin, but I would definitely purchase again.

I really liked the smell of this one in the store and I've always wanted to try some LUSH buttercreams. I'm a little saddened with my experience with this soap. It has a very weak scent, which doesn't linger on your skin. Personally, I'm a fan of soap I can smell after I've taken a shower, and this one just didn't do it for me.

However, it did leave my skin perfectly soft. I *may* even buy it in future just to use as hand soap. I feel like it's better suited for that than as a body soap.

I got kind of nervous of spending too much when I bought [$] worth at the store, but I can happily say I love this soap! It's one of my favorite scents from LUSH so far and one of the few soaps that doesn't dry out my skin. I like using it whenever I can so I can smell like roses. :)The only thing is that it doesn't lather up as much as other LUSH soaps, but that's a price I'll pay for the lovely smell and moisturizing it brings.

At first it smells like strawberry lemonade. After hard friction it begins to smell a bit like roses. It doesn't lather or clean at all, and is so frustrating. Nor does it melt! What a waste.

I was hesitant to spend [$] on a soap, but it makes your skin smell amazing. I used it shaving and it worked fabulously. I'll probably buy it again. Definitely worth it to me. (keep it outside of the shower though!)
