I needed a new soap and spent quite a while smelling the selection in the store before finally settling on The Godmother. I don't regret my choice! Besides the fabulous smell, this soap lathers well and the scent stays with you. I haven't had it for very long so I can't comment on whether it lasts, but it doesn't seem to be dissolving too quickly thus far. This is a favourite for sure!

I got this as a sample and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this soap! I used it in the shower; it smells great and my skin smells great for a long while after using it. I just wish it didn't dry my skin out so much! That's the only thing keeping me from buying this product.

I currently have 10 different Lush soaps in my bathroom and this is my absolute favorite by far. It is as sweet as they come and it's prefect, well, I am not much of a pink sort of girl, so maybe if it came in indigo blue it would be better, but that wouldn't quite fit the candy-like scent. I tend to get headaches from musky or floral scents, so food scents tend to work best for me. I used to make all my own organic products, but I have a baby now and I simply do not have time, so thanks Lush for filling that gap.

I made the mistake of purchasing this heavenly product with my sister in tow, causing a fight over who got to keep this magical product. It is one of the best scents in life, and totally unique and fresh. It lathers beautifully, but unfortunately doesn't last that long. I am a firm believer in simply buying a bigger bar of this product because it is absolutely one of a kind.

The smell is a very tangy candy scent, if you like that. Like a sour, fruity jelly bean. I love this scent. And the red later it makes up is both fun and moisturizing!

Smells so good! Realllyyyy cleans my skin. My skin dries easily, so this dries it out, but for someone with more oily/combination skin, it would be a perfect 5 starts!

For the most part, I will use Godmother for hand soap. I love the way it smells, and it lathers pretty pink bubbles. But occasionally, I'll take a slice into the shower and lather up. It leaves my whole body soft, smooth, and smelling AMAZING.

The Godmother soap was one of my first purchases at Lush, and I am surely glad. It smells like cotton candy mixed with other fruity candy like scents. It lingered on my skin after I took a shower for only a few minutes (10 min. max) but while it was there, it smelled DIVINE on my skin and filled the steamy bathroom full of Godmother scent. On the other hand, it lathered very well, it cleaned very effectively and moisturized my skin. Sadly, it did not last very long ( I could tell by the sticky texture) where one thin slice would last only 1-2 showers, and I wish a bit more affordable. My chunk was fairly small considering the price, but other than those few cons, this might be my favorite lush soap (maybe my favorite soap overall), and one of my favorite lush PRODUCTS.

I received this soap as a sample, I didn't really like the smell, but I decided I'd use it anyway because I hate to waste anything. Once, I lathered the soap up, the smell softened a little. The scent lasts a really long time, there was something about the scent that's kind of addicting (it smells like a cherry popsicle to me). Great product, although I don't think I'll be purchasing because I go for more earthy or fresh smells.

Smells exactly like the XXX Vitamin Water. Its an all-around great soap exept it is really slippery and does not last long. But, it's and all around good soap! I'm hooked!

This lathered beautifully, but as soon I as got it wet, my whole bathroom stunk of bubblegum. I know there are some girls who like to smell like that, but it did not appeal to me AT ALL.

This would be a wonderful hand soap but I used it in the shower. I absolutely LOVE this black cherry scent - that's what it smells like to ME anyways. It gets really loud in the shower and lasts on your skin (LUSH please make a lotion for this and Rock Star soap!). The CONS about this soap are that 1- It doesn't last very long, as DO ALL GLYCERINE SOAPS!!! (which is why LUSH recommends it for a hand soap bc it melts fast) 2- It's SUPER drying to your skin (my skin is normal). I can't wait till the holidays so I can get this in shower gel form (Snow Fairy) so I can use it year round. Don't forget to stock up! :)

This scent of this soap is simply intoxicating. I look forward to taking a shower every morning just so I can smell this soap. It is very moisturizing to the skin, cleans well, and I can't say enough about that lovely scent!

My favorite soap ever. Wonderful smell and feel. Cleans well and leaves you smelling wonderful and very soft. Also love the pink color. Recommend highly. Smell is like rasberry or stawberry, but not annoying nicely done.

I got this as a sample with my order yesterday and thought I would try it out in the shower this morning. I didn't love or hate the smell, I think maybe if I were a little girl again I would have loved it, but as an adult, I could take it or leave it. I have very sensitive skin, and the reason I haven't used bar soap in years is because I've never found one that didn't make my skin feel like it was being tightened and dried out (even Dove!). This soap was no exception...so sorry, won't be buying this one again! If your skin doesn't have problems like mine though, go ahead and indulge :)
