I use this daily after 'New' solid shampoo or 'Trichomania'. I used to mix it with 'American Cream' but then it overconditioned. This by itself is PERFECT. No static. No overconditioning. SMELLS LIKE COCONUT so you non-coconut lovers go away! Don't whine about the smell if you don't like coconut. Mild smell but there nonetheless.

I was excited to use this, the Lush lady told me it would be the best for my curls to use with Trichomania. I went through it so quickly and it's not cheap. I had to use twice as much as I normally would because it was much too lite for my thick curls. I loved the smell but I probably wouldn't buy it again because it has poor price performance, in my opinion.

Smell starts nice then ends up sort of like a stale smokey campfire smell which is okay for a minute but gets old. Very watery texture to the conditioner and it really doesn't do the job for my curly hair. My hair isn't really soft and has an unpleasant texture after use. It's not the worst, but not worth the cost. I'll finish this bottle and call it quits.

I used coolaulin and curly wavy together and my hair kept curls for almost 3 days with out another wash. it makes my hair very soft and smooth not the greatest smell but not to bad. i also was able to brush out my hair with very little problem which is a first for me.

This is a GREAT all natural conditioner that leaves my hair shiney and smoothes my frizz. It does smell 'weird' straight out of the bottle, but once your hair is dry, it smells very subtley like coconut. I get lots of compliements from friends and hair stylists on the smell and texture of my hair after I use it.

So far this is the only conditioner works for my fine, oily in scalp, yet dry and damaged hair. The best thing is it does not add more weight while adds lots of moisture. Veganese too light, American cream too heavy; Jungle too complicated to use... Sooooo sad to find Coolauline is discontinued in both local stores and online. This is a bomb to my boxing day shopping mood:(

This conditioner is fabulous, yes as other comments state, it does have a fairley smokey undertone when applied, but that smell does not linger and leaves hair smelly yummy when dried. I have curly, yet thin, naturally frizzy hair that I straighten quite often. I've found that mixing this conditioner with mashed up creamy jungle conditioner equals the perfect best smelling combination ever. I use with gentle lentil shampoo as well. Please don't discontinue lush, I ordered the big bottle when I found out this was on the chopping block. So sad. I really love this product.

I like the way this works. It's a great detangler, but I hate the burnt coconut smell. At first, it smells like yummy coconuts, then there's this burnt smell that is just awful. Luckily, it doesn't linger in the hair.

does absolutely nothing for hair. it was advertised to me as a heavy conditioner for dry hair and it gave no results. smells just like the conditioner body powder deodorant stuff which i like, but not good for hair.

I had high hopes for this conditioner. The smell was terrible. It smelled like the outside of the coconut burnt. I was nauseas from it. My hair was in awful shape with flyaways and frizz. I have wavy but mostly straight hair and occasionally process it. So disapointed.

Much like other users when I smelt this product in the store it didn't smell too bad, but as soon as I squeezed some out in the shower and distributed through my hair I thought I dumped an ashtray on my head! I hate smoke and the smell of it so this was very off putting for me..I do have to say though after putting it in and leaving it on a minute my hair felt very silky. It feels too light and disappears quick when you put it in but when your hair dries its very soft..if they just made it smell better!

Felt like I was having an affair with my beloved Jungle conditioner when I decided to give Coolaulin a try. I was out of my beautiful green chunk of wonderfulness and had a sample of Coolaulin sitting around. Since I didn't want to deprive my hair of Lush and go the drug store route (even for one washing) I gave this a go. I am, of course, head over heals for it. I had tried American Cream before and didn't have great results (although the smell is incredibly) so I didn't think Coolaulin would be affective. I know this is going to be one of my must haves from now on. My hair was so silky and smooth and felt so light and soft to the touch. I didn't even have to style it at all and it looked amazing.
When I did eventually stock up on some more Jungle I decided to mix the both of them togehter. Used Jungle on my ends and Coolaulin on the rest of my hair (my hair is super long and thick) and the results were even MORE fanfreakingtastic! I think I have found my winning combo (along with some Rehab, Curly Wurly, or Seanick Shampoo of course)! Time to get a big old bottle of Coolaulin to add to my stash!

I purchased this product from the store in Philly on 9/7. I explained to the sales person that I was looking for a new conditioner, and she recommended Jungle, and I should have listened to her! I bought this because my hair likes coconut based things. I purchased the smallest bottle and this smells horrible, like it is rotten, it is not suitable for a deep conditioner at all. I rinsed it out after 10 minutes because I was feeling sick from the smell. In addition, my hair didn't feel any more moisturized than if I would have just dampened it with water. My curls don't even pop anymore, I had to go behind this and shampoo again to get my hair back to its regular state. Boo to this product.

This is a good conditioner for daily use,especially in the summer! The light scent does not overpower or conflict with any other Lush products that I use which is a plus.
I do not like to use it as a leave in conditioner,so I use American Cream or Okra for that purpose.

I have very thick and curly hair and I was worried about expensive this product is and how much I'd have to use in my hair. I was pleasantly surprised to find that despite my hair being down to my mid back I barely had to use any. My hair is very soft and much more tame now. The only downside is the smell is not my favorite... I thought it was a bit like suntan lotion.

I really wanted to like this. I had heard such good things about it, but in the end I just couldn't stick with it. I've been using it about a month, now, and plan on switching to a different conditioner.

I bought it knowing that it's very light, and I figured that it'd be perfect for the summer so my hair wouldn't get greasy. In fact, it was too light to make any kind of difference. I did indeed notice some extra shine and my hair was a bit softer, so there are some good things about it.

Secondly, I can't get past the smell, which upsets me. Generally I really love earthy, natural scents (from products like Herbalism, AOBS, Geo Phyzz, etc), but in addition to the coconut scent (which is lovely), there was a distinct smokey smell, which was simply too strong for me (I'm sensitive to really intense smells). I don't know if I got a bottle from bad batch or something, but after I did my hair in the morning all that'd be left on my hair was that smokey smell. My husband was able to detect it from several feet away, in fact.

I plan on getting a more rich, better-smelling conditioner next time. I'm thinking American Cream.

I had a sample of this and the smell didn't bother me, but I bought a bottle and the smell made me gag and my eyes burn when I was in the shower. Maybe it was just the batch I bought from. Anyway I would be really careful about this one if you are sensitive to smells.

So I wasn't at all impressed with this conditioner upon my first two uses. However, after the third; I love it. What threw me off: when your hair is wet it feels awful ( dried out n hard), but when it dries it is ultra smooth and silky. I have chemically processed hair ( dyed like a maniac, every few months), and wasn't sure this conditioner was up to the challenge; but it passed with an A. I wish it was thicker, I use a great dollup everytime; so it doesn't last long. Still, I like this conditioner a lot.
