this stuff saved my skin!!! i exfoliate first with the sea salt scrub in the shower and because i should shave every day because i have thick beard and dont i use a cleansing oil for xtra lubrication and the ambrosia on top. super smooth hydrated skin is my result! then before i moisturize after rinsing i put just a touch more ambrosia on, like a dime size if that, and it makes a great after shave balm. this is the only shave cream i use and swear by. it took no time at all to get used to not using a foam or thick lather shave product after the result.

So sadly I hadn't been using a shaving cream on my legs...for years I think. My legs have pretty nice skin, but sometimes they were a little unhappy after shaving.

This is a great cream for your legs. It really does make shaving easier and left my legs feeling so soft.

I have the worst legs in the world. Not only are they dry, they are super sensitive to shaving creams, lotions and to razors. My legs get irritated, cut and nicked. But after I used Ambrosia, my legs felt completely new. It was light weight, smooth and quick to apply. I didn't nick myself, my legs didn't get irritated (even the bikini area)and no cuts! My fiance` asked me to write this as he never has time because his job is demanding. First of all he has very sensitive skin and a pale complexion and any redness on his face is easily noticed , or it hurts him, and the bumps take a bit to heal.

At first he was like whaaa? Because he couldn't understand a shaving cream that wouldn't lather. Then bam he say's, "I really like this stuff" he loves natural products so this makes my eco man happy.

Since using this which, might I add I just bought his second bottle it lasts quiet a long time I order when he's half way down the bottle because he doesn't want to use anything else.

His face is so smooth and soft and razor rash free! Thank you LUSH!

Only downfall is I am always cleaning the sink but it's worth it!

My fiance` loves this stuff I got it for him because no matter what he uses it gives him razor burn. With this no more pink sore spots on his neck and his face is so smooth and soft.

He say's, he doesn't care how many times he has to rinse his razor, because he's so happy no more bumps or burn. Plus the bottle lasted him 2 months that's worth it!

Well,I take a seat in my shower,so that the steam opens mah pores...Slather it on then BOOM! Great shave ev'ry time! My skin isn't irritated and I feel better knowing i'm not hurting myself by polluting the temple that is my sweet bod with EVIL CHEMICALS!

I bought this product for my boyfriend, who at 40 has incredibly sensitive skin and trouble finding a shaving cream that won't irritate his face. He wasn't quite sure what to think of the consistency, but with the first swipe of his blade, he was in love. He gets the best, softest, closest shave and his skin feels great afterward! He also said that his razors last a lot longer than before; the other shaving creams dulled his razor and he had to use a new one every time!
Now, after that recommendation I had to try it on my legs as I am picky about what I use. Most shaving gels just don't glide well. I'm an Ambrosia lover too, after one use! It's so easy to use and my legs feel great! :) I would recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin or just wants a close shave and super soft legs/face afterward!

I received this as a stocking stuffer for Christmas and only began using it about one week ago--specifically for my bikini/underarm area. I was hoping that this would be the cure-all for small cuts, red spots, and irritations in those areas, but it wasn't. The only plus side to Ambrosia is that it isn't half as harsh as regular shaving creams. I'm guessing that this would be best for guys with sensitive facial skin.

I have tried every method of getting rid of leg hair, and have trouble getting a close clean shave without some sort of rash. This does the best job so far, yet I do get a few red bumps, my skin may still be healing from all the alcohol based shave creams. This leaves a nice film that vales my skin. I am interested in trying the thicker version - Prince.

I gave my boyfriend this to try because he hates shaving so much because of the pain, itching and redness it causes. The next morning he sent me a text that said, "Thank you so much! I have had this problem since I was 14 and you and lush saved me."

This is the only shaving cream I have ever used and not had razor burn. Until I found this stuff, I used an electric razor on my legs and suffered through the razor burn on my armpits. Since I started using this, I've had no problems and the electric has been in the drawer, unused, for over a year!
My only complaint is the scent. I wish they had a version with a more feminine scent. To make up for it, I just use a little Lush soap after I shave!

I got a sample of this stuff and I cannot get enough of it!
I put this cream on my pretty much dry legs like lotion. I let it soak in for 2-3 minutes then i shaved rinsed and then scrubbed my legs with Buffy!
I did not apply any lotion and my legs smelled amazing and were incredibly soft and still are super soft a day later!
I usually hate shaving my legs because it leaves them irritated and lotion is horrible greasy annoying stuff... but I love having soft legs!
With Ambrosia and Buffy i get the soft legs I love with none of the draw backs!

I know that this is not my personal review, but the ONLY lush product that my boyfriend uses is this shaving cream. He claims that this leaves him with a CLEAN SMOOTH shave. Best of all, before, he used a generic brand from the store and had bumps after shaving. Now, the bumps are at a minimum and I love the smell of his skin:) Not only that, but it is as light and wonderful as my Vanishing Cream!

Short and sweet, this review should let you know that this product would be light and wonderful for anyone!

I am a gal cursed with burly woes when it comes to hair. On the plus side, I have awesome, thick, wonderful hair on my head-- on the downside, that hair is everywhere else, too. Manly hair vs. a woman's skin: Some days, my skin doesn't mind the razor. But on others it becomes my mortal enemy, and can leave everything from blistery skin to razor burn that feels more equivalent to a terrible sun burn that I, similarly, almost expect to peel. The hair usually wins in this battle, even with the best, most clean razors. I wish I could afford being professionally waxed on a regular basis, but neither time nor my wallet would allow such a thing.

Enter Ambrosia: the ally of the hairy gal's skin! I almost want to whip on a bikini to show off my victoriously bump- and rash-free skin, but then I remember it's 10 degrees outside and the snow isn't going to stop anytime soon. The smell is interesting. Tingly and crisp. It wakes me up. Not bad, but I'm glad it washes off well. Overall, this is an awesome product, and I plan to buy it again.

an angel has come into my life and it is this product. i have the most outrageously sensitive legs in the entire world. no joke. and this is the reason i came to lush. i heard they are natural and i figured they would have something that would help and let me tell you it is this product! it scared me at first because i thought it was a lotion but it worked wonders on my legs. they were soft and mosturized, didnt hurt, no redness. its great. i dont recall a scent either. i am recommending this to everyone i know. youll love it!

I got this as a free sample and have fallen completely in love with it. I cannot imagine using any of product for the use of shaving. It leaves me feeling silky smooth and silky. Def recommend this to anyone looking for an excellent shaving product!

This is great. I have tried all of LUSH's shaving creams and this works best for me. BTW Lush doesn't make products for the way they smell they make products that are going to be effective for different types of skin needs if you are looking for a great smelling shaving cream ( or anything for that matter ) go somewhere that only cares about fragrance and not your skin!

This review is kind of late, but I thought I should add my 2 cents. I bought this over a year ago because the way it's described is exactly what I deal with when shaving because my skin is so sensitive. I would use it on both my legs & my armpits. The smell is HORRIBLE!! I don't know why LUSH says that it smells like honey because it DOESN'T AT ALL! I guess the combination of products they use to create it don't work together very well smell-wise. It DOES have a very light, creamy feel which is what I like about it because most shaving products are heavy or thick. I didn't notice the biggest difference in my skin after using it though. Probably works great for men, but not the best product for us women in my opinion.

I recently bought this for my boyfriend and we were not impressed with the result. It did not smell at all like honey and chamomile, it was actually a rather strong and unpleasant smell. And after using it he could not get the smell off of his skin, even after 4 washes! He also found it was very runny. It didnt leave his skin any softer than his regular grocery-store-brand stuff, and certainly didnt help with the razorburn. I gave this 1 star simply because it did the same job as his regular stuff, so it helps somewhat. Definitely wont be buying this again though.
