I use this bar when my knee or back aches. I also use it after a chiropractic adjustment if my muscles are sore. This product works well and I can even use it during the day because it smells good.

Essential oil of clove is an analgesic and an antispasmodic so it is perfect to use Sore Labours for aches and pains. Thank you Lush for helping me ease my aches!

I bought this massage bar because I have Fibromyalgia and I thought maybe it might help with aching muscles. It doesn't and it has a smell like the Dentist's office I used to go to when I was a child back in the 50's. As soon as I rubbed it on all those bad memories of dental appt.s came rushing back to me and I thought o god I can't use this! Besides the awful smell it didn't do a thing for my aching hands. Sorry Lush. :(

I'm forever getting knots in my neck from being stressed out. Because I'm allergic to cinnamon, I can't really use Wiccy Magic Muscles without having to wash it off. So, I got this for myself I used this on my neck before bed the night I got it, and it made such better, and I slept so much better. The only problem I have is that its so small =(.

I'm a die-hard Lushie for 10+ years now, and I've never met a product I didn't like until now :(

I do a lot of Bikram yoga and get pretty sore -- I got a little tired of dropping aduki beans in the changing room when using the awesome Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar, (which is a great alternative to Tiger Balm), so I thought I'd try Sore Labours.

Unfortunately, the price is higher and the effectiveness is lower. Maybe it's the peppermint in Wiccy that works wonders, but this one's a dud for me. Smells spicy, but doesn't measure up for real muscle taming. I'll stick to Wiccy, beans and all.

I use this bar at bedtime on my arm, which is sore from a muscle pull. It smells great and is less messy than Wiccy, which I also love. It goes on very smoothly but takes a bit of time to absorb.

I would recommend it as a post-workout indulgence.

I love 'clovey' smells, so I was really excited to try this one. At first I wasn't sure what to think of the smell of it, I think it may have been the cardamom (it's the only ingredient in it that I'm unfamiliar with), but after a while I found myself abandoning whatever I was doing to go an smell it. I do wish it were more cost effective for it's size, but I suppose it could be worse... and it's just so lovely! The smell sticks with you and isn't at all overpowering once it's been absorbed, and leaves your skin nice and squishy, not dry and flaky or greasy.

I didn't care for the smell of this as an actual massage bar, but I grabbed it one day before putting on my socks, and discovered that I LOVE it for my feet! Most things for your feet have peppermint scent, which gives me headaches and makes me feel sick to my stomach. THIS was perfect for my feet! It has enough "oomph" to combat sweaty feet smell (yuck) and it REALLY softens. I put this on before bed and in the morning before I put on my socks and shoes. I wish it were bigger, however....or at least in a shape that fit the tin...

I love this! I used this the morning after my first workout of the season (the kind that leaves you unable to sit down or go up and down stairs), and felt SO much better. My only wish is that it was larger so that I could rub it all over my body! It is kind of little =/ It also made me smell like chai tea for the entire day.

THIS SMELLS TERRIBLE!!! Very musty and dank. It's also 1/2 the size of other massage bars. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is it really did make my legs feel better when they were sore.

I bought this in the last discon run, and I was amazed. It's such a complex scent, kind of citrusy, clovey and warm all at the same time. I definitely need to buy some before they're gone!

I was impressed by this. I do a lot of running and spend up to 12 hours at a time on my feet, and a nice post-bath leg massage with this really seemed to soothe my aches and soreness. Also, it smelled nice. Spciy and warm but not too overpowering :)
