Glycerine (From Coconut Oil)

Glycerine is a clear, viscous, water-soluble liquid which occurs widely in nature. It's a traditional cosmetic material and has been used for many years because it's so safe and effective. It's also used in foods and pharmaceuticals.

As a humectant, glycerine draws moisture from the air into your skin to keep it hydrated and soft. We also use glycerine in our products because it carries effective ingredients, such as aloe gel or fruit juices, into the skin. It's also very mild and does not cause irritation. As it can replace water content, and has natural preservative properties, glycerine is often used in some of our self-preserving formulas.
