Star fruits (also called carambola), are melon-like tropical fruits growing on the carambola tree, hanging like Chinese lanterns. They are 5cm to 15cm long and have a juicy and crispy flesh under their yellow-orange waxy skin.

The puree is made by crushing the whole fruit which is very rich in antioxidants, especially vitamin C and polyphenolic flavonoids, helping to maintain a firm and glowing skin.
