Pyrus malus

Apples are rich in antioxidants and vitamins to brighten and refresh the skin. They contain vitamins A and C as well as malic acid, a natural antioxidant and exfoliant.

Apple trees (Pyrus malus) produce white or pink flowers and their fruits vary from bright red to yellowish-green. The fruits of most varieties are edible. Their textures can be crisp, tender or floury and flavours range from tart to sweet.

Apple juice is squeezed fresh from the fruit and added to products. The malic acid contained in the fruit gently exfoliates the skin, leaving it toned and glowing.
