This Lokta Paper is handmade in Nepal, at a papermaking unit that was set up as part of a scheme to create employment for marginalised women in the area. The plant is a regenerative fibre as it can be re-harvested after 3-4 years, and is printed just up the road from the Lush factory in Poole.
Fighting animal testing
We have been fighting against animal testing since before we opened our first shop, and the fight continues today. We test products on humans and promote, fund and use human biology relevant testing methods entirely animal and animal-product free. Find out more
