Guava fruit is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. The fruit enzymes found in Guava can assist in the removal of dead skin cells leaving the skin looking fresh and brightened.  

The common guava has four times the amount of vitamin C as an orange and is also rich in folic acid, giving its enzymic benefits.

Native to Mexico, Central America and South America, Psidium guajava is a small tree in the Myrtle family. Guavas are cultivated in many tropical and subtropical countries, with various species grown for commercial use. The fruits can be a variety of colours such as yellow, maroon or green and have a pronounced and typical fragrance, similar to lemon rind but less sharp.
