Meadowsweet (Spiraea ulmaria) has been used for medicinal purposes since the Bronze Age. Today, this soothing herb is used to calm irritations as well as to tone and clear the skin, thanks to its astringent properties.

The orange tree (Citrus dulcis) has glossy, evergreen leaves and fragrant white flowers. The bright colour, uplifting scent and sweet taste of the fruits made them very popular through centuries, favoured especially by royalty and featured in many cultural traditions to symbolise fertility, prosperity and good luck.
