Theobroma Cacao Extract (Roasted Cocoa Extract/Cocoa Extract)

Your plate is full, and the strain of everyday life is really getting to you. We understand! The nostalgic chocolatey smell of cocoa extract is great for releasing tension, with comforting notes that should bring back a bit of cheery pleasure.

This extract is a blend of cocoa extract and roasted cocoa extract. To make the extracts, cocoa beans are removed from their pods, cleaned and dried. Sometimes the beans are then roasted. After this process, the beans are ground into a thick oily paste called chocolate liquor, then undergo solvent extraction to produce an absolute. Alternatively, chocolate liquor can be used for chocolate-making or subjected to high pressure to separate cocoa powder from cocoa butter.
