Vanilla water is made in-house by mixing vanilla absolute with water.

And why would we do that? Good question, thank you.

• Many cosmetic products contain a lot of water because it's an excellent natural solvent that helps the different ingredients in a formula bond together. At Lush, we like to spice up this water by infusing it with botanicals or, in this case, by mixing it with a vanilla extract that’s full of goodness and fragrance.
• Absolutes are powerful plant extracts, and diluting them a little can help create blends that are gentler on the skin, especially the delicate area around the eyes.
