Royal Mail strike
Royal Mail Industrial Action - updated 17th August 2022
Royal Mail have announced that there are planned strikes on the following dates in August and September:
- Friday 26th August
- Wednesday 31st August
- Thursday 8th September
- Friday 9th September
This means that Royal Mail will not be making deliveries or sorting parcels on these dates.
Rest assured these strikes will not impact our delivery lead times to customers, as we have a contingency plan in place to use an alternative carrier for our standard delivery service during this time.
To ensure as little disruption to customers as possible, and to avoid the back logs that Royal Mail are expecting during the days following the strikes, we will use an alternative carrier leading up to and after the strikes.
Therefore if you place a standard delivery order between 24th August and 1st September, and between 6th September and 13th September your order will be sent with Yodel.
There will be no change to the standard delivery fees that we charge during this time and delivery speeds remain the same.
Next Day, Saturday and Sunday deliveries are not impacted. However, please be aware that Monday 29th August is a Bank Holiday and our carriers will not be making deliveries on that date. For more information on Bank Holiday deliveries please head to: https://www.lush.com/uk/en/faq/delivery-information
