Cinnamomum zeylanicum; Rosa centifolia; Panax ginseng

Benefits

Natural

Romantic rose, spicy cinnamon and stimulating ginseng pave the roads to sensuality.

Where do we get these ingredients?

Lush generally purchases spices, dried flowers, and roots through a distributor. They source products from different countries depending on seasonality and stock availability.

What are the benefits of this infusion?

  • Each shower gel formula needs a certain amount of water to work so, why not infuse it with fragrant spices and flowers?
  • These three ingredients have been described as aphrodisiacs at some point in history, helping people succumb to temptations.

Unique stories

The cinnamon shrub is native to Sri Lanka. It is mostly farmed for its bark which is stripped away and left to dry out into copper-coloured curls. The resulting spicy sticks are cherished for their comforting aroma and stimulating properties on the skin and blood flow.

Also stimulating, ginseng has been used as a tonic for the body and mind for centuries in Chinese medicine. Panax ginseng is one of the many varieties of ginseng growing in the world. Although it is a trailing ground cover plant producing small red fruits, it is cultivated for its valuable roots.

Finally, roses. They have a soothing but toning effect on the skin, and a beautiful floral fragrance. The Rosa centifolia is commonly known as the 'cabbage rose' due to its rounded shape and high volume of petals.
