We Believe in the Freedom To Marry
At LUSH we believe that ALL our employees, customers and communities are valued and should be protected equally. We also care deeply about how these issues effect our staff, customers and the communities in which we live and work. We must work together to fight against discrimination, wherever it appears. Today, that discrimination is against same-sex marriage.
We, along with our campaign partners Freedom to Marry, are calling for the U.S. Federal Government to pass the Respect for Marriage Act, which would effectively overturn the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). DOMA denies committed gay and lesbian couples the right to marry, and deprives them and their families the 1138 civil rights that come with federal marriage recognition. We want to see an end to the ongoing discrimination against thousands of couples and families across America. Together, let's make same-sex marriage legal in the United States.
1138 rights are denied to Americans. Click here to learn more.
