Bring it Back: Recycling Reward Terms and Conditions Updated on 7 September 2026.

This simple recycling scheme entitles Lush customers in the Republic of Ireland (excluding Northern Ireland) who are over the age of 18 to exchange any Qualifying Lush Packaging item for Rewards when returned to a participating Republic of Ireland (excluding Northern Ireland) Lush store (pop-up Lush retail experiences and stores, concessions, events and online not included) (“Participating Lush Store”).

This scheme is subject to the terms below.

1. Firstly, check that your packaging is eligible for the scheme. You can do this by checking on the bottom of the item, where you will find the type of plastic just under the recycling symbol (apart from on the plastic moulds) and by checking the label on a product.

2. This scheme applies to the following “Qualifying Lush Packaging” items being:

Full size:

● PET clear plastic bottles (with lids or spray tops)

● PP pots clear, white and black (with lids)

● PP makeup packaging (with tops / lids)

● PP push up tubes (with lid)

● HDPE bottles (with trigger/spray tops)

● Plastic PET moulds (top and bottom) from product making workshops in stores (items must be returned together)

● Aluminium tubes (with lid)

Sample size:

● PP black 10ml sample pots (with lids). The sample size items do not qualify for the five for a Fresh Mask exchange.

3. The following items are excluded from the scheme and are not Qualifying

Lush Packaging:

● Any non-Lush packaging of any material

● Non-plastic Lush packaging (i.e. glass jars or tins – please reuse these items where possible or recycle locally)

● Bottle tops (we no longer collect bottle tops of any kind through our shops or postage system).

3. The scheme will apply only to Qualifying Lush Packaging originally purchased from either a Participating Lush store, the official Lush Website at www.Lush.com/ie Lush App or via approved third party vendors, and Lush store staff shall have sole discretion in determining whether any packaging qualifies under this scheme.

4. Qualifying Lush Packaging should be empty and thoroughly cleaned before returning to a Participating Lush Store. Customers may be refused or asked to wash their packaging in store.

5. Take your clean Qualifying Lush Packaging empties back to any Participating Lush Store in the Republic of Ireland (excluding Northern Ireland) and present them at the point of paying.

6. Qualifying Lush Packaging returns may only be made in Participating Lush Stores and we do not accept returns of any Qualifying Lush Packaging online or at pop-up Lush retail experiences; concessions; events.

7. The “Rewards” are as follows:

a. 50 cents (ROI) for a full size individual Qualifying Lush Packaging item off your purchase at the time of return at the Participating Lush Store; or b. 5 cents (ROI) for a sample size individual Qualifying Lush Packaging item off your purchase at the time of return at the Participating Lush Store; or (together the “Money-Off Rewards’)

c. a 75g face/body mask specifically kept in a fridge or on ice in store and does not apply to unrefrigerated face masks such as Cup O’ Coffee or Mask Of Magnaminty (“Fresh Mask”) for five full size Qualifying Lush Packaging items at the time of return at the Participating Lush Store. Fresh Face/Body Masks are subject to availability in the Participating Lush Store that you choose to redeem this promotion with. (the Money-Off Rewards and Fresh Mask together are the “Rewards”)

8. You may convert your Money-Off Rewards into money-off your purchase at the time of return at the Participating Lush Store where you have returned your Qualifying Lush Packaging

9. You have the choice of whether to receive the Money-off Reward or accept a Fresh Mask (subject to availability in Participating Lush Stores) but it is not possible to receive both Money-Off Rewards and Fresh Mask for the same packaging return. If opting for a Fresh Mask, no Money-off Rewards will be offered.

10. This offer has no cash value and the Rewards must be redeemed in Participating Lush Stores at the same time the Qualifying Packaging is returned.

11. If the value of the returned Qualifying Lush Packaging under this scheme exceeds the value of a chosen Reward, no cash equivalent will be given.

12. Members of staff using the scheme in conjunction with a staff discount will receive 25 cents/pence per item of full size Qualifying Packaging towards their eligible purchase. All other terms remain the same.

13. This scheme will continue subject to review and further communication.

14. The scheme does not apply to stores outside of the Republic of Ireland.

15. Lush reserves the right to withdraw or amend this scheme at any time on a month’s notice, such notice to be given on this page.
