This artwork was designed by Nicole Fontana from the arthouse Brändi, a foundation where individuals with primarily cognitive or mental disabilities discover their potential, gain new perspectives and overcome perceived limitations. Nicole's inspiration for the design has stemmed from creating colourful pictures that really stand out, gathering lots of impressions outdoors in nature or when travelling. But most importantly, to have her own style.

Leaving the world Lusher than we found it
Nepalese handmade paper is made from the fibrous inner bark of the evergreen shrub, Daphne Bhopal, also known as Lokta bushes. They are cut a few cm from ground level, allowing the plant to regrow from the radial root. The plants regenerate and can then be re-harvested after 3-7 years depending on altitude and growing conditions. Bastipur, close to the Indian border, has the perfect dry conditions required for the papermaking process and the unit there was set up to create employment and support empowerment of women in the area. Pass forward, reuse or recycle for a lush environment.
