Packed full of antioxidant-rich vitamin C, zingy lime juice protects and rejuvenates the skin, while providing a deep cleanse.

The Citrus aurantifolia tree is thought to be native to the tropical regions of Asia, but is now widely grown in other tropical and subtropical areas around the world. This shrubby tree produces oval evergreen leaves, faintly fragranced flowers and round, glossy fruit. 

Limes are generally picked when green and unripe, making them higher in acid and sugar than lemons.

On the skin, the astringent qualities of lime juice encourage the pores to tighten, giving a smoothing and mattifying effect. Applied to the hair, it smooths the cuticles that remain flat and therefore reflect more light, thus increasing their natural shine.

Where do we source fresh lime juice?

We press this juice in-house in our Fresh Kitchen. The limes are produced in Spain, and we purchase them from Riverford, a UK-based distributor that works with organic fruit and vegetable growers.*
