Balsamic Vinegar

Balsamic vinegar is usually found in our haircare products, to tone the scalp and give the hair glossy shine. Vinegar's acidic nature helps smooth down the outer layer of the hair shaft, called the cuticle. When the cuticle is laying flat, light can bounce more easily off the hair shaft, giving the hair shine.

Balsamic vinegar is prepared from white grapes and wine vinegar. It's placed in wooden barrels and aged for up to 25 years. Each variety gains some flavor from the type of wood used for the barrels. Balsamic vinegar has a rich, sweet/sour flavor and a thick, syrup consistency.
