The scent of the century is back, and this year our iconic Snow Fairy Shower Gel has all of the magic, none of the palm. So for sparkle like there’s snow tomorrow, lather up in the palm-free, candy-sweet suds that come but once a year — unless, like us, you stock up on the biggest bottles to survive the Snow Fairy drought.
From one icon to another, Lush Co-Founder and Product Inventor Helen Ambrosen tells us how she worked her magic to make Snow Fairy palm-free this year. "At Lush we have certain challenges that we have always wanted to overcome and this year Snow Fairy in her lovely shower gel guise is helping us do that. One aim has been to create liquid shower gels and shampoos using surfactants that are palm-free. Our shampoo bars are not palm-based and we are very proud of that. As our shower gels are our main product that uses palm-based materials, we felt this would be the best place to start. There are very few non-palm-based shampoo bases that we can work with so we worked out a way of using the same surfactant as in the shampoo bars but in liquid form.”

- All of our clear plastic bottles are made using 100% post-consumer recycled plastic and can be recycled again.
