Olive leaf absolute is used to fragrance products. It has a refreshing herbal scent with a hint of fruity aroma and bitterness.

Olives are well known in the world for their delicious taste and beautiful oil and it is unusual to see the green and silvery leaves of the tree being used! Olive leaves contain a high level of oleuropein, a phenylethanoid that provides the bitter side of the scent and is a powerful antioxidant.

This absolute is produced in Egypt, where the leaves are trimmed off the trees after the harvest of the fruit.
