Fresh Pineapple Infusion
With a delightful tropical scent, pineapple cleanses the skin thanks to the three fruit acids it contains. Indeed, citric, malic and tartaric acids provide a natural and gentle exfoliation to the skin, which refreshes and revives.
Native to Brazil and Paraguay, the pineapple thrives in tropical climates and has been used in folk and modern medicine for centuries.
We are all more or less familiar with pineapples, but a little less with the plant on which they grow. Each plant looks like a throne of long green leaves on which presides a unique and proud fruit. When looking closely, it strikes the eye that the plant actually looks like a bigger version of the spiky tuft that crowns the fruit and this is quite normal... because it is! To grow a pineapple, you just have to plant the tuft and wait for it to grow and blossom.
To make pineapple infusion, the fresh flesh of the fruit is simmered in hot water and left for a little while to extract its fragrance and properties.
