The thick, green and shiny leaves of the very large mango tree are beloved for the shadow they provide wherever they grow. The fruits are celebrated in many Indian legends where they often relate to beautiful women, appealing fragrances, abundance, and luxurious meals. Whereas mangos seem exotic in countries like the UK, they are actually more widely cultivated and consumed across the world than apples!

This absolute is produced in Egypt by solvent extraction from the leaves of the tree.
