Inside the Lush x Lazy Oaf Self Service collab
We’ve teamed up with female-owned North London independent, Lazy Oaf, on a 17-piece collection to turn your home into the ultimate self care space.
This is our first ever brand-to-brand collaboration and we couldn’t think of a better brand to partner with. Like Lush, Lazy Oaf are a British-born business who champion considerate, small batch production and this limited edition collaborative collection is no different.
Founded by Gemma Shiel from a North London Garage in 2001, Lazy Oaf is a design-led streetwear and lifestyle brand with a history of doing things their own way. Starting out with hand-printed T-shirts sold on a stall in East London, Lazy Oaf has now become an established independent brand, putting creativity, collaboration and community first.
18 months in the making, the LUSH x Lazy Self Service collection is packed full of cosy staples and self care essentials to make sure that every day is your best day.
Across the collab, we’re using Lazy Oaf’s signature Happy Sad and checkerboard patterns to adorn classic LUSH products including bath bombs, soaps and mega foamy bubble bars.
An exclusive return for this collaboration, we’ve brought back an innovative shower range from the Lush archives. Showders, or shower powders, help you get your skin clean and fresh without the plastic bottle. Available in two fan favourites scents, the soothing lavender-fuelled Sleepy or the invigorating and refreshingly minty Intergalactic.
We’re also launching a brand new fragrance which captures the essence of Lazy Oaf’s East London origins. The LUSH X Lazy Body Spray smells like an east end laundrette, with puffs of tobacco lingering on low thread count sheets still warm from the dryer.
The collab is also our first foray into the world of fashion! The two teams’ designers collaborated on eight bespoke clothing and lifestyle pieces, including a pyjama top and bottoms, face cloths, a hand towel, bath sheet and wash bag - all made in 100% organic cotton.
