This October, step into the magic of Samhain with LUSH Sunderland and Wyrdology for an intimate two-hour immersive experience exploring Samhain through science, history, the psyche and the sacred. Dr Bex McNally, creator of Wyrdology, will support you to journey beyond the familiar imagery of Samhain and explore what this ancient threshold can tell us about the experience of being human. Through a series of talks and guided immersions, we'll explore Samhain through the Wyrdology lenses of neuroscience, anthropology, theology, Jungian psychology and metaphysics. We'll journey into the neuroscience of the amygdala; explore ancestors, the otherworld and the unseen across cultures and spiritual traditions; enter the Jungian territory of the shadow; and consider metaphysical ideas surrounding the veil, consciousness and the unknown.
