Capsicum Annuum

Benefits

Natural

Padron peppers are a variety of pepper named after the region in northwest Spain from which they originate, Padrón. The pepper species is originally native to the Americas and the Caribbean, and is now also grown across the Mediterranean.

Padron peppers are picked unripe, when they are still green. A popular Spanish snack, these mostly mild small chillis can vary in spiciness when consumed, depending on their growing conditions. We, of course, use padron peppers not as a tasty treat but for the benefits they can bring to the skin.

What are the benefits of Padron peppers?

  • They have a gentle warming effect, which can soothe aching muscles
  • Rich in Vitamin C, a key antioxidant that helps keep the skin looking radiant.
