Ingredient
Pine Needle Infusion
Pinus Sylvestris
Benefits
Natural
The fragrant, resinous, woody scent of pine needle infusion makes you feel like you are strolling through a forest glade, where resinous perfume released by the warm sun permeates cool, crisp air.
Pine needles come from the Pinus sylvestris, a conifer or evergreen tree that retains its needles year-round. Pinus sylvestris is the only pine native to northern Europe. Conifer needles function similarly to leaves but have evolved to retain more water and exhibit better wind resistance than regular leaves, helping the tree to cope with the harsh native Northern climate. So you could say, they're not a regular leaf; they're a cool (weather) leaf.

What is an infusion?
To make an infusion, we carefully gather pine needles in a fine cloth and soak them in hot water. The ingredient properties are released into the hot water, creating an infusion full of benefits and scent. It’s not too dissimilar to making a cup of tea, just with a bit more greenery.
