Tangerine Water

Citrus reticulata

Tangerines are full of vitamins, reviving and brightening the skin, as well as cleansing it. Their light, appealing aroma lifts the mood to the next level of joy, so much so that you may find yourself singing “Tangerine when she dances by, senoritas stare and caballeros sigh”, but maybe not.

Tangerines grow on the Citrus reticulata tree. This evergreen tree can grow up to six metres tall with white flowers and orange fruits and belongs to the Rutaceae plant family. Tangerine water is made by dispersing the oil in water.

Tangerines and mandarins look a lot alike and share the same properties, so much that they are considered the same in some countries and are a bit of a botanical nightmare when it comes to explaining which is which. Sometimes, you just have to let it go.
