Knot Wrap designed by Chris Packham
Chris Packham is a broadcaster, environmentalist and animal rights activist, known for his work on television projects for the BBC and Channel 4, including Springwatch. He serves as an ambassador for numerous wildlife and environmental NGOs and is a board member for the Climate Emergency Fund. Chris actively campaigns for a transition to a more sustainable future, advocating a shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Reflecting on his seven new Knot Wrap designs for LUSH, he says:
"Designing for LUSH is a joy. Great company with great ethics and great products . . . but most of all they love colour. In the brown and grey world of the 2020’s their brilliant blues , punchy pinks and yelling yellows are uplifting. And I love colour too, principally because of the way it makes me feel. I like the work of Mark Rothko whose abstract colourfield paintings provide such powerful emotional connection. In these pieces I've employed this approach, I’ve let the colour do all the communication."

This Knot Wrap is made from 100% organic cotton. The cotton is grown and ginned in Madhya Pradesh, India, before being sent further South to Tamil Nadu where it is spun and woven. The fabric is then screen printed by artisans at a traditional Sari printer where colours are matched by eye by an ink mixing master. All inks used are certified to be free of SVHCs. (Substances of Very High Concern). The Knot Wraps are then finally sewn by a proprietorship with a social cause supporting the artisan community and empowering women.
