We use almond essential oil in our products for its conditioning, soothing and softening effect on the skin, and for the nutty, fruity and cherry-like notes it gives to a perfume.
There are two types of almonds: sweet and bitter. Almond essential oil is distilled from the kernels and apricots of bitter almonds. It is also known as natural benzaldehyde, because the finished perfume material is made up of around 99% of it.
