Mimosa Absolute

Acacia decurrens

This absolute is a hard and sticky substance and must be heated to soften it a little before being added to a product. It's often used for its beautiful fragrance, and has the added benefit of soothing the skin.

Mimosa absolute comes from the Acacia decurrens tree, a native of Australia. When in full bloom, the tree's flowers and twigs are harvested, from which this thick, yellow material with a sweet, floral and woody aroma is extracted.
