Where do we get fresh asparagus*?

When we can, we source fresh asparagus from Careys Secret Garden, where they focus on rewilding and diversity. Careys Secret Garden is located only 10 miles from our factory in Dorset, we couldn't really as for fresher and more local! When asparagus is not in season or available at Careys, we also use a specialist fruit and vegetable distributor, with whom we have been working since 2005, to ensure year-round availability.

What are the benefits of asparagus for the skin?

When you think about it, asparagus is the young shoot of a much larger plant and so, like most shoots, it's concentrated in nutrients and amino acids. It has also been reported to be cleansing and mildly astringent when used on the skin.
