This fragrancing material makes all things flowery. Diffusing a strong powdery rose scent, it also has fruity and geranium notes.
Although it can be produced synthetically, Lush purchase a natural rhodinol made in France from a type of geranium called Pelargonium graveolens. The plant is distilled to obtain an essential oil, which is then put through a second distillation called ‘rectification’ that breaks down the different compounds of the oil and allows them to be used separately.
