Bring It Back: Recycling Rewards - Terms & Conditions

Our Bring It Back pot return incentive enables Lush customers in North America to exchange any individual qualifying Lush pot for $1 towards their in-store purchase during that same transaction.

This program is subject to the terms & conditions below.

1. Firstly, let’s check what can you Bring Back with this incentive:

• PP pots clear & black (with lids) 45 g or 1.5 oz and over

• PP Makeup packaging

2. The following items are excluded from the Bring It Back:

Not Qualifying Packaging

• Any non-Lush packaging of any material including non-plastic Lush packaging (i.e. glass jars or tins–please reuse these items where possible or recycle locally)

• Lush HDPE bottles (with trigger/spray tops)

• Lush 10 g & 20 g sample pots (we can send them back for recycling)

• All Lush plastic bottles and tops

3. Lush products that are not included with $1 off incentive:

• Lush Charity Pot (we wouldn’t want to pull back support from groups doing such meaningful work, even for a cause as good as recycling)

• Any limited-edition campaign products raising funds for non-profit organizations

• Tote bags and cosmetics pouches

• Knot-wraps

• Sale items

• Makeup brushes

4. The incentive will apply only to Qualifying Packaging (pots 45 g or 1.5 oz and over) originally purchased from a Lush store or the official Lush website, and Lush store staff shall have sole discretion in determining whether any packaging qualifies under this incentive.

5. Clear and black pots should be empty and thoroughly cleaned before returning to a Lush shop. Shop staff can refuse to accept pots that are dirty and that could potentially be hazardous.

6. Once you have one or more clear or black pots and they are sparkling clean, you are ready to shop! Take them along to any Lush store in North America and present them at the checkout counter as this is the only available option for processing this incentive.

7. This is an in-store program only. There is currently no equivalent for online sales.

8. For each pot, you’ll receive $1 off towards your purchase of any qualifying full-price Lush product.

9. This incentive has no cash value and you will only be able to receive the $1 off towards purchases made at the same time the pot is returned. No credit will be offered against future purchases and this information is not stored in our systems.

10. If the value of the returned pot under this program exceeds the value of the purchase, no cash equivalent or future credit will be given.

11. You can receive $1 off under the Bring It Back incentive AND a face mask under the 'Five for a Fresh Mask' program during the same transaction.

12. This incentive is scheduled to run throughout 2023 and will continue subject to review and further communication.

13. The incentive does not apply to stores outside of U.S. and Canada.

14. Lush reserves the right to withdraw or amend this incentive at any time on a month’s notice, such notice to be given on this page.
