Fir needle absolute's scent is like being in a forest, where everything has been warmed by the summer sun. The air smells green and fresh, calming and uplifting.

Also known as balsam fir, fir needle can be found in eastern North America, mainly in Quebec and Maine. Young trees have a thin, gray bark with resinous blisters that continue to develop while the tree grows, turning into fine brown scales.
