Ingredient
Linseed Infusion
Linum usitatissimum
Benefits
Natural
To make our linseed infusion, we boil the linseeds in water. Once the mucilage (a thick, gooey substance) is released, we strain the mixture and add it to our products for its ability to soothe, lightly hydrate and add suppleness to the skin and hair strand.
The flax, or linseed, is an herb with a tall, leafy stem and pale blue flowers. The outer coating of its tear-shaped, brown or yellowish seeds swell and produce a gel when exposed to water. They are rich in protein, oil, vitamins and minerals.
