Sodium Coco Sulfate

Sodium coco sulfate creates a rich foam and cleanses hair and skin, effectively dissolving dirt and grease. Above a minimum concentration, its molecules become organized in a way that traps oil-based dirt from the hair and skin, so it can be rinsed away.

Sodium coco sulfate is a surfactant, so it's partly water-soluble and partly oil-soluble, allowing oil and water to become dispersed. Made from the fatty acids of coconut oil, it's a good palm-free alternative to sodium lauryl sulfate.
