Curcuma longa

We use ground turmeric in our face products for its skin-brightening and antioxidant properties. Naturally warming, turmeric gives life to sluggish, congested skin.

Ground turmeric is made from the dried rhizomes of Curcuma longa, from the ginger family. It's used in curry to add a refreshing and slightly peppery taste. Curcumin is one of the most researched plant-based substances, and gives turmeric its yellow color. Studies suggest curcumin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
