Vanilla Pod Infusion

Vanilla planifolia

We use vanilla pod infusion for its sweet fragrance, and for its soothing effects on the skin. Vanilla's natural sugars also act as a humectant, which help prevent moisture loss.

Vanilla pod infusion is made up the dried unripe fruits of the vanilla plant, also called vanilla pods. We create an infusion by placing the pods in boiling water.
