Delicate washes, delicious results. Soothing rose water and moisturizing cocoa butter bake up skin that's just as sweet as baklava. First served-up as a body wash, Research and Development Compounder Mirek whipped these ingredients up into a sumptuously softening soap. To help bring Co-Creator Samire’s delectable vision to life, he decorated it with gold luster and cardamom seeds to create a soap as beautiful as baklava.
Co-Create is a product creation program for Lush staff, aiming to promote diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging by lifting up authentic stories from respective communities. Co-Creator Samire shares her inspiration for this Eid al-Adha product:
"For Eid, it is very important to share food with neighbors, family members, friends and those who are less fortunate. Baklava is especially good for this, as large trays can be baked and distributed throughout the neighborhood. It is also Sunnah (a tradition of the Prophet Muhammad) to eat something sweet before the Eid prayer, which baklava certainly fulfils."

- Gourmand goodness: we’ve mixed together our Noubar and Puddy Holly fragrances to create a rich, nutty scent that has a warm sweetness, with almond essential oil and rose oil.
- Coconut oil soap base: our proper soap is proper lovely and made the traditional way by saponification. We mix it by hand, adding in beautiful ingredients for their effects, pour it hot and let it cure before it takes pride of place by your sink. This in-house coconut soap base serves up a soap that can take heavy handling — it's firm, bubbly and perfect for soap squidgers.
Leaving the world Lusher than we found it
Made with Cloud Forest Cardamom from Alta Verapaz in Guatemala, a region known for its high-altitude cloud forests. It is grown on one of Guatemala’s only single-estate farms, which allows for true transparency, as every step from cultivation to export is overseen. The regenerative farm uses traditional harvesting methods, allowing biodiversity to thrive.
