Ethyl macadamiate is used as an alternative to silicone; it coats the hair, adding shine and protecting it from heat and humidity without weighing it down. This co-wash is only available in select stores.

Massage into the scalp, then work through to ends before rinsing off for soft, hydrated hair.

The coconut palm (<i>Cocos nucifera</i>) is thought to be native to the warm climates of Polynesia, Malaysia and southern Asia. The trees bloom and bear fruit throughout the year, growing a new flower spike nearly every month. This then becomes a cluster of six to twelve fruits. Coconuts are the seeds of these fruits, the largest seed known to the world!&nbsp;

'Kalpavriksha', the Sanskrit name for the coconut, means 'tree which gives all that is necessary for living' and, indeed, the possibilities seem endless. We can even use the fibres of its fruits to make some of the wrapping papers!

The sweet orange is a flowering tree with glossy, evergreen leaves and thorny branches, and it is thought to be native to China, and East Asia. The trees now grow all over the world. Botanically, their juicy, edible, orange-coloured fruits are a type of berry called a hesperidium.

Orange peel wax is considered a good vegan alternative to lanolin as it has similar emollient, moisturising and emulsifying properties, with a lightweight feel.&nbsp;

Lemongrass is a perennial tropical plant native to India which grows long aromatic leaves that can grow up to 1.5 metres (5 ft).&nbsp;

Thanks to its antifungal and antiseptic properties, lemongrass oil is excellent for use in deodorants. It keeps you feeling clean and fresh whilst smelling great. It is also used in dental care for the same reason.
