A good base for masks, bentone gel gives a slip to products and maintain emulsions stable. On the skin, it absorbs excess sebum and leaves a matte and silky finish.

Bentone (also called hectorite) is a manufactured fine powder derived from bentonite clay, which is found in volcanic ash deposits. The powder transforms into a gel when mixed with water.
