Prunus Armeniaca

Dried apricots make a natural and nutritious exfoliant. They contain even more beta-carotene than the fresh fruit, a powerful antioxidant that helps maintain a firm, bright and souple skin. They also have a higher concentration of potassium, bringing hydration and balance to the skin.

The apricot tree (Prunus armeniaca) is widely cultivated in the Northern Hemisphere. The well-known apricot fruit is delicious and full of nutrients. As it is difficult to obtain fresh apricots all year round, it is prudent to use them dried.
