Rubus idaeus

Small and gentle, raspberry seeds make a very good natural scrub when rubbed on the skin, with the added bonus of being edible and biodegradable!

A member of the rose family (Rosaceae), the prickly raspberry shrub produces small white flowers followed by the red fruits, in summer, which are eaten raw or cooked. 

The seeds are the little things that always get stuck in your teeth after eating the fruit. Not only a scrub but the seeds can also be pressed to produce a golden yellow oil that is known to have soothing and protective properties.
